Schlenk is very transparent with players. He told Gallinari what he could expect coming off the bench behind Collins. I am sure he let Lou know what his role would be on the 2nd unit as well. Its a win/win for both.

Lou has always been a fan favorite. Most old fans wish the Hawks would have kept Lou to see him get those 6th man of the year awards with the Hawks.

Atlanta got better this season, multiple 2nds, and a better cap structure next season. Should perhaps be an A++.
LAc overpaid. But they also got the change they needed. They needed this both for off court chemistry and for playmaking, and having Rondo signed next season is a plus assuming Ballmer will just write an even bigger check. I couldn't even make this a B-, because it actually works so well for LAC, despite being a talent downgrade and paying to do so.

I like it for both as well. I think Rondo plays better for the Clippers being surrounded by their alphas. I can see Lou going out in style with the Hawks. The picks do lean this to the Hawks.

Great point. Unless they poorly managed their money, none of these multi millionaires has to work anymore.

I know Lou has been awful, but I'd have just sitting him as a better move than giving up assets to swap him from Rondo. Lou is just as likely, if not more, to have a few good playoff games and he's not a team cancer.
