sounds like Beal's agent is being really cooperative with the Suns. My guess is the Suns already know how Beal would and wouldn't consider and they just haven't formally asked him to waive because they don't have a deal worked out. But all the stuff coming from the Beal camp actually sounds pretty encouraging that if the Suns can find a deal, Beal might go along. Agent wants to stay on the good side If Ishiba while he's in early Mark Cuban mode. He wants his clients to get more of the silly money while its to be had.

I don’t think any team Beal would want to play for is going to trade for him and I don’t think Jimmy will end up in Phoenix, that super max + NTC is just too crippling.

At this point I think he would waive his NTC for teams in a better situation and/or better living environment.
Magic - Good seeding, could use an upgrade at the 2.
Heat - Miami, no tax, winning environment
Lakers - because everyone wants to be a Laker
Clippers - LA is a good place to be, prefer big brother, but any will do.
Warriors - Klay Splash role
Knicks - a top team in the East + city
Celtics - because who doesn't want to be a Celtic
Mavericks - no tax, good talent, playing with passers/playmakers
Spurs - no tax. Play with Wemby.

longshot options:
Bulls - meh winning environment and if they trade for you it's not a win-now, but still an opportunity and a good city
Pistons - upcoming team. Cade is great. Good place to be a #2 option.

I agree on your list there, though now which of those teams would trade for him….or can. That’s a very short list that might be 0.

The Suns CEO is the literal son of Beals agent lol, so yeah, Beals gonna get white glove treatment and only end up somewhere he really wants to be.

Jimmy Butler to Phoenix Suns

Brad Beal & Kel'el Ware to the Golden State Warriors

Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga, Dennis Schroeder, and Brandon Podziemski to Miami Heat

(The players from GSW can be manipulated)

Kevin Looney, Gary Payton, and Kyle Anderson in particular.

Even if you ignore the apron issues and assume this is happening in the offseason, we'd have to give up Wiggins (who is a flat out better player than Beal) and 3-4 other guys just to make the money work.

On that contract I don't think he makes any sense for any team.
