You know who i think would be a great fit in Dallas? FVV. Better shooter and defender than lavine/oladipo/dinwiddie. Secondary playmaker next to doncic. They have the trade pieces to make it happen imo.

I’d be all for that too.

Oladipo was All-Defense team before the injury and seems as if he could earn that again going forward.

Dipo is also on the short list of guys that Dallas is trying to acquire.

I was responding to the FVV being a better shooter and defender than Oladipo. If so, FVV would be such a desired signee that he’d be getting way more money and command more in S&T.

I, loserX who harps about this very thing almost constantly, proposed a trade yesterday that included a 2020 1st round pick and a 2020 sign-and-trade.

It's been a long year for a lot of us.

Also Apparently, the Cavs are "eager" to dump Kevin Love, according to a report

Sean Deveney of heavy.com?

They cite him here. I doubt I’d take it terribly serious.

Windhorst similarly had that Love has been on the market and never left it. So, that the Cavs don't want to keep him.

I haven't seen *anyone* besides the Cavs blogger with the scoop that Love for expirings was turned down by Cleveland. I agree, CLeveland wants a 1st. But would they take just expirings? I personally think it is yes, absolutely.

FVV would likely cost less to acquire if a team offer up 22+M contract. i dont see raptors matching that. He is also much safer play than oladipo at this point. Teams are waiting to see how oladipo does on the court first it seems like. Oladipo could become his all star/all defensive self, but if he does he would cost a fortune to acquire from indy.

I think there are multiple capped out teams with narrow windows and big contracts that they want to move. A guy like Love might be more attractive than Batum in that scenario. Who knows, it's the silly season.

I would rather have FVV than Dipo in Dallas personally. But I wouldn't give up 21 dreams to pay him $20M per so....

But Smitty is re-tweeting the NBA store selling a Mavs Millsap jersey so guess our big move is made.....

Milsap would be a very good fit in Dallas however I doubt that is their only move. He’s not the “3rd star” they’re looking for.

Millsap for the MLE would be a great move for Dallas, but I would hope they move Wright or Powell with a pick to offset the loss of 2021 cap space this move would create.
