So what are some of the big potential dominos left this offseason? A few that I can think of:

-Does Gobert get an extension?
-Does John Collins get an extension?
-Does SAC match on Bogdan?
-Does LAC trade for a PG (maybe Rozier)?

If Bogdan falls to the Hawks, I see Collins getting offered something like Turner, Sabonis, A Gordon almost immediately afterwards. If he wants more than 22 million a season, I think the Hawks let it go into the next off season.

After seeing some of the contracts this offseason, I think he will stick to his desire of more than 22m.

Gallanari and Bogdan are high caliber starting level NBA players. One gets 20.5 a season and the other gets 18.0 a season. Collins is right in their grouping. Hayward got 30 and is a former All Star. There were not a lot of big contracts signed this year for non all star players like Collins. Mitchell and Tatum are All Stars. Its pretty obvious Collins is not there yet; plus the PEDS suspension.

I disagree. If he wants what Tatum and Mitchell got, he is not going to get it. From the Hawks or anyone else in my opinion.

I like this on the cheap. Another vet to add to the locker room. The Hawks scrimmages should be really eye opening for the young players. Facing off defensively against Capela, Rondo, Dunn, Hill is not the same as Len, Parker, Bembry and Crabbe

They seem maxed out at PF/C unless waiving Bell.

They have a lot to do at backup SF and could do with another PG. They still don't have the 5m from Deng. Maybe they go in to season with these guys and use 5m for buy outs if it comes.

Unless he's talking out of his ass, this furthers my desire to offer Hayward to Indiana the second he's trade eligible. I would happily throw in a protected 1st if it meant we got Turner.

I wonder why he wouldn't at least demand a 1+1 (PO), he had the leverage to do so. If I were him, I would prefer to have the injury insurance.

Definitely not good if Vivek is meddling, though it's not 100% clear what he is pushing McNair to do. Either way he needs to be more Steve Ballmer and less Mark Cuban: stay out of operations and just be a very, very wealthy cheerleader.

On the other hand, Amick seems to think that Haliburton worked his way to Sacramento. If true, that *is* encouraging; I can't imagine the Kings have heard that from a lot of desirable prospects the last few years. Fox's bloom may be having a nice ripple effect.

Vivek seems pretty fond of buddy, maybe this whole Bogi situation resulted in interference by the owner. Perhaps they were considering trying to move Buddy before they'd agree to match. Something like that.

Yea, reading between the lines, sounds like Vivek and Aneel don't want to trade Buddy. And if Buddy remains a King, I look forward to him coming off the bench in the 2h when Haliburton is inserted into the starting line up.

Also, do think there is a 50.5% chance the Kings match Bogi and keep both Buddy and Bogi--not because McNair wants to, but that may be the only way to trade one or both later, because of Vivek's fondness for Buddy. I'd rather just let Bogi walk and trade Buddy as well.

Amick used the words "if there is no real viable market for Buddy" and ..."the premise that Buddy's trade market is non-existent. If true..."

He could very easily mentioned the above without throwing in Vivek and Aneel. If Buddy's market is non-existent, so be it. Why add Vivek and Aneel? If true...no real market...reading between the lines, seems to indicate not so much that there isn't a trade market, but rather Vivek and Aneel don't want to lower what they're asking for Buddy. In other words, they don't want to trade him while the Kings FO may be willing to punt Buddy and keep Bogi.

i really dont see a reason not to keep Bogi if youre the kings, or at least get a sign and trade with some assets back. No real reason not to let him go for nothing.
