The Bucks and Knicks have agreed to a deal
Bucks trade/Knicks recieve
Dan Gadzuric $5,751,130
2008 Bucks 2nd
Knicks trade/Bucks recieve
Etan Thomas $6,370,000
In the long term this will be good for both organizations involved. The Bucks save about $5 million, and recieve a player, that when he comes back from open-heart surgery will be a major factor in their push for the chip.

The Knicks happily accept this deal. I think Gadzuric is better than his limited minutes show and would be an ideal backup at center because of his athleticism. We also pick up another very early second rounder this year to use as a trade chip to move into the late first round.

The Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves would like to announce their second trade.
The Knicks send:
2008 second rounder from the Bucks
The Timberwolves send:
Ryan Gomes
The Knicks have a trade exception of 2.325 million dollars from the Randolph trade that they are using to pick up Gomes' salary. I don't know trading for players with an exception works but once Bryant08 has the time to get back to me I'll edit the post accordingly.
While it hurts to trade that second rounder because I was hoping to package it to trade into the late first round it seems that very few people with the picks I am interested are active. So I did the next best thing and aquired a very good young big man to come off the bench.

Atlanta Waives Adam Haluska
Atlanta Trades
Marquis Daniels $6,373,900
Portaland Trades
Jake Voskuhl $3,000,000
Smush Parker $2,250,000
2008 2nd Rounder via Dallas
$5,250,000 x 1.25 + $100,000 = $6,662,500
Portland accepts, this gets us a defensive minded guard that can help our young team, as well as build up our 2009 cap space.

Atlanta Trades
Smush Parker $2,250,000
2nd Round Pick 2009 Atlanta
Minnesota Trades
Michael Doleac $3,120,000
Due to Atlanta being under the cap they are able to absorb the extra salary and the trade works under the CBA
Minnesota Accepts
