I am curious who you guys will be targeting in Free Agency, and what makes Orlando more attractive than those players current rosters.

wow...better I just stay out...

Hop on in big fella - according to Orlando's biggest defender on this board, Henigan traded Harris 18 months in advance so they could be a player in next year's free agent pool. Also, Henigan has declared this year playoffs or bust. He's so confident that he tied up $15 million in Jeff Green, as opposed to a better player to help make the playoffs. Strange combination, but I'll move on. Back to the original question.........

Who's this mystery target that Henigan's going to sign?

We have Gordon who is similar to Harris but will be much better.

He is a hell of a lot better of a defender than Harris will ever be and offensively he is a different player. Tobias puts up a lot of empty stats. 16ppg on 14 shots is not efficient at all. Removed. Just because Gordon doesn't avg 18ppg (yet) doesn't make him a lessor player

No. Comments like this have no place on this board. If you want to debate the two players on the merits, do so without the attacks. Thanks.

Coming back with this doesn't make it better. And yes calling someone a homer is a personal attack. It leads to the same in return and then the whole board goes to crap. You know better if you've been here for a couple of years.

Is trolling ok? Can we provoke others?

It seems to me that calling someone a homer is a bigger deal than instigating someone into getting hot. For clarity sake, this would be good to know.

I know you also know better. Why are you guys choosing to make a big deal about this? You both know calling someone a homer is not cool on the non-team specific boards. If you don't like it, you don't have to post on this board.

You might be reading too much into what I said. I'm just trying to get clarity because the guy trolling has been skating by like a boss. Kudos to him for that. This is like when you watch football and the second guy throwing the punch is the one that draws the flag. Except this guy has throw 10 punches and the 11 hit by the other guy gets the flag.

This is all from one guy...

Orlando constantly makes head scratching moves.

Four straight years in last place in the Southeast Division...... and their moves have been working well? I guess we all have our own views on what 'well' means.

If Hennigan had such a long list of good deals, they would have done something better than last last place at least once in four years.

They traded two young assets for a declining player in a contract year. If they don't make the playoffs, Hennigan will scapegoat a couple of players and buy himself another couple of years. I'm sure the author of that article is laughing his rear end off at all of these moves, while Vogel basically says 'WTF?'

Based on Henigan's past, I smell a Vucevic for Amir Johnson swap at the deadline. Good expiring deal for Orlando so they can replace Vucevic with another monster contract the same way they replaced Harris with Biyombo.

You should post how you thought the Harris trade was for capspace eighteen months down the road for your sig. Just to confirm to people how clueless you are when it comes to the Magic.

"Pistons steal good player from Orlando as GM tells the fans it's for eighteen months down the road."

Those who believe that are indeed lost. Its called stupidity. Look it up.

Sounds great. Hopefully SVG and Henigan can get together again in the near future for another deal. The Magic are doing everything they can to rebuild the Pistons, and that's always appreciated.

If I knew better, I would've thought this guy was the one in trouble, but it's not... it's the guy who he riled up who got in trouble. I think I have a new found respect for Rex for pulling this off clean. Bawse.

Which was clearly a joke that went way over your head. You guys are easily the most sensitive fanbase we have on the trade board and that is saying a lot.

I bet you they wouldn't have stood for it if I was the one trolling like that... I was warned and banned for much less. Eventually, I just ignored rex Ryan. He's obviously just a kid. Mods were too lenient on him because he was on their side of the argument. Now, instead of admitting that he was trolling and that the thread could've gone much better without him, they just say the Magic fans are sensitive and have a persecution complex... must be something in the water in Orlando, and has nothing to do with the mods at all... right?
They'll never admit that they handled it unfairly. And now that I'm bringing it to their attention, the mods will probably ban me... so hugs and kisses to all :)

If you think this speech is going to make us not do anything because we are afraid of how it will look, think think again.

Howard knew Smitty was pulling his chain based on some other conversations not in thread. Relax about that original comment please.

If you have other serious questions about moderation please feel free to PM me and I will address them in depth.

However this kind of backseat moderating and singling out of another poster in public like this is never acceptable. Not one person reported any of these posts. If you want the Mods to address posts you feel are questionable you have to let us know about it. This is not an acceptable way of handling it.

I think his point is that we as magic fans get in trouble for responding, but Mods do not pay attention to a thing the other guy says..

Well I think the point is misguided. I read all of Rex's posts and while they are critical of some of the Magic decisions they aren't trolling. They are just his opinions. And yes we expect other posters to be able to handle those comments maturely. It's not the opinions of Magic posters that have gotten them into any issue with Mods on this site. It's how they have expressed them.
