Um. I'm guessing he will rephrase it as different dates, because this would mean a team could flip a player before the season even begins. Although Woj retweeted it.

Crazy. Could this be the year a team signs someone and flips them almost immediately?

That’s how I’m reading it. Im also waiting for some clarification, because I think unless PHX makes a big offer, this seems to make resigning Gallo to flip him pretty quickly a very viable move for OKC.

If Danny Green is the filler in a Schroder trade, who wants Danny Green? Can be flipped by himself immediately

Pass... I always look for statistical markers with young players/draft prospects. Along with that, I feel like vertical, two foot explosive athletes are always overrated and quick/lateral athletes are underrated.
Miles is explosive off two feet, but underwhelming laterally and not long.

He doesn't show high BBIQ markers of AST:TOV ratio, shot selection, rebounding, and FTr (FTr is a function of spatial awareness and functional athleticism). When I plus athlete as such an anemic FTr, I get REALLY concerned that they lack skill and/or their athleticism doesn't play as well as measured.

He'll play a nice long career in league, but never a starter or consequential player IMHO.

Think its too early to write off a 22 year old small forward. Not like its a deep position. He improves his shooting range and he definitely a starter. People didn't think much of a 22 year old Oubre either.

Umm. Oubre is not really selling your point.
Oubre is basically the same player he was at 22. Limited BBIQ will always cap his ceiling due to limited vision and team defense.
Also, Oubre helps alleviate his average shooting with getting to the line.
A FTr under 20% is REALLY poor and is a terrible sign if a player isnt a strict C&S player (Korver, Klay, Bertans, etc. have low FTr because of their play style)

Myles was more efficient true shooting wise his first two seasons in the league than Kelley. It isn’t a style competition. It’s about the ball going through the hoop. Ftr means very little to me for a 3 and D prospect.

My point is more so 22 Kelley didn’t look like a starter. He improved and got better and now is definitely a starter.

Well, Danny gonna Ainge. He offered 14 and EITHER 26 or 30, not both, to the Cavs for 5.

Not surprising. But you could offer all of their FRPs, and I'd say no as the Cavaliers.

Yeah if that reporting is correct it fits the pattern we’ve seen from Ainge, which is some arguably bad faith low ball offers to move up.

I'm less thrown off by the lowball nature, and more confused by the word or. Like , Cleveland can pick if they think 26 or 30 (with the lower salary!) is better?

Nah. I added the or, since the original report didn’t clarify which one was offered.

Well, that makes more sense. But is less funny.
