you don't get a first for taking on 10 mil expiring

Maybe the Knicks are the ones adding (at least some of) all the 2nds that Charlotte is getting?

That seems to make sense that NY used 4 SRP's to dump Kemba.

Still don't know what the Knicks got from OKC.

I think it was 4 2nds, but that went to Charlotte, I never said Detroit got a 1st.

Yeah, so that would be:

Detroit trades Milwaukee pick for #13 and taking Kemba
New York trades 2nds and Kemba for basically nothing
Charlotte trades #13 for the Milwaukee pick and NYK 2nds

With the OKC deal being completely separate.

That seems possible.

there are so many questions in this trade, I highly doubt it's complete

It seems like NY had a trade in place with the Hornets for #13, then Detroit stepped in and NY flipped #13 to them.

Who knows but having #11 and trading it to the team with #12 but not for #12 and then trading for #13 but then ultimately trading #13 seems like an awful lot to be going on for one team in about 20 minutes.

I will never cease to be amazed at the prices that teams pay to move up a few spots in the back half of the first.

But what did NY pay for 13? And if so, why is the Milwaukee first going to Charlotte and not Detroit? See what I’m asking?

And tbh, did the Grizz really need to trade up from 22 to get Laravia? I don't feel like they did.

This feels like the Saldama trade again.

Where’d you see that? This is very confusing. Like, what is NY paying to include Kemba.

I think they're trading the Milwaukee 1st for the 13, then packaging that and Kemba to the Pistons.

But then again I have no freaking idea so take that with a pile of salt.

But how is NY getting the 13 from Charlotte? Or, if the Milwaukee first goes from Detroit to Charlotte, what is NY doing in this deal to salary dump Kemba?

I thought NY had the Milwaukee pick LOL

Detroit acquired the Milwaukee first in the Grant deal yesterday and essentially flipped that, along with taking Kemba's money, for pick #13.

Other value from NY going to CHA.

Reading these boards it sounds like 4 2nds.

Still no word on what NY got back from OKC.

On the clock you are drafting for the best prospect fit for your team not for random picks anymore.

I love how aggressive Memphis is for most recent draft .

Very happy with that trade, even though I think Jake LaRivia is pretty solid.

Yup. There is a reason this happens. Memphis has LaVare in their top 10 or 15 and he is there at #19. Do you trade #22 and #29 for #10? #15? Yeah.

Too many people don't understand how the draft works.

Spurs was definitely a threat to take him imo. They need a forward w/ size like him
