This is terrible for Detroit! Hawes is a backup, Noel hasn't even played his first nba game and coming off an acl tear and a pick that may or may not happen, but if it falls outside this year it's a waste. So essentially would be trading drummond for a prospect in Noel and a pick outside the top 5.

As much as smith had been a migraine this season, I believe once he has been moved to the 4 he will only be a mild headache at times and pairing him with Drummond makes for an elite defensive duo. As a Detroit fan trading Monroe makes much more sense than taking garbage of a trade proposal
