Monroe + MCW for Rubio + Dieng

Who adds value?

For Bucks, Rubio on the more playoff ready Bucks, with Kidd, next to Middleton just feels so promising. Dieng can join Henson and Plumlee as C by committee.

For Wolves, MCW is hard to swallow as place holder, but should help the tank this year while eating less minutes. Some what places all their eggs of their draft pick in the Dunn or Murray basket, but PG is a very deep position in the NBA and one might be found as FA. And with LaVine needing PG minutes, Jones on roster, Wolves are deep. So the real risk is Monroe with Towns. Can they pair well as a twin towers, taking ideal matchup against other teams PF/C?

The Miami pick in 2018 is top 7 protected. Maybe the Bucks just keep both their 2nds and the Celtics pick goes back to Phoenix. And we can just as easily leave out Rozier and Ennis.
Mil gets: Chandler, Mavs' 1st and Miami's 2018 1st (top 7 protected).

Pho gets: Lee and Celtics' 1st

Bos gets: Monroe

This still works for me.

Bucks are looking for either picks or young assets who will fit next to Giannis, Parker and Middleton. Preferably a PG or C but realistically any decent assets who can defend rebound and/or shoot.

Two crazy trades that would NOT happen but end results are pretty solid for both teams...

Jazz trade Favors + Hayward to Bucks for Giannis + Parker
Jazz:
C: Gobert
F: Parker
F: Giannis
G: Hood
G: Exum
Bucks:
C: Monroe
F: Favors
F: Hayward
G: Middleton
G: MCW

Bucks trade Monroe + Middleton to Jazz for Gobert + Hood
Bucks:
C: Gobert
F: Parker
F: Giannis
G: Hood
G: MCW
Jazz:
C: Monroe
F: Favors
F: Hayward
G: Middleton
G: Player to be named later

Right off the top I'd say SVG's biggest blunder for the Pistons was letting Monroe get away for nothing.

I'd say it was one of the best things he's done. It's clear that Drummond is a much better player without Monroe. And getting the most of Drummond should be one of the team's top priorities.

It's also clear that the team is better without Monroe. Even the Spurs and Grizzlies who have played big when the whole league has starting going small understand the importance of spacing--in particular the Spurs.

Sometimes a team gets better letting a talented player leave.

A defense/hustle center like Mahinmi or a team-first, non ball dominant PG who can shoot from range like Delly. Doesn't have to be thoe specific players, but pretty much either a big that can protect the paint or a PG that isn't a spacing liability or a total moron.

Monroe/Adams
Ibaka/Collison/McGary
Durant/Roberson/Singler
Westbrook/Morrow
MCW/Payne

Henson/Plumlee
Kanter/Parker
Ante.../Cope
Waiters/Vazquez
Augustine/Bayless

Monroe is a better player in the low post, and a better passer, he will do better with a star-studded case. Mayo will thrive in his ideal role as 6th man, Westbrook slides to a more natural 2-guard spot.

Kanter and Henson pair well, EK can't protect the paint, but can guard opposing centers, shoot with range, score in the paint well if needed. Henson has limited range, but provides good defense, rebounding.

The first one is absolutely awful for the Bucks and the second one is bad for the Jazz. I would decline the first one in a second and accept the second one in a second.

Agreed. I'd have liked to see him get some value, though.

Celtics would probably be interested in being involved in a three team trade with Monroe going to the third team

We're not interested any but what do you think about trading Monroe to Sacramento for Kostas?

Your rotations are pretty far off, but I don't hate it for OKC. Have a hard time seeing why MIL does it though.

Waiters, Kanter and Augustine. I don't think it would be more possible to contemplate not being a Bucks fan if that happened.

In all honesty for both of them, an upgrade at C like Horford or DMC come to mind

thats a very good package
