seems to me that #3 for Okafor is a pretty even deal

Regardless of source this seems pretty likely.

Yeah this isn't exactly surprising. I would think it's more likely he's moved after teams strike out in free agency though.

My gut feeling is still that Milwaukee keeps him but we'll see.

Monroe for a heavily protected 2017 1st after the best centers have gone in free agency would seem to make sense.

Seems a likely Portland move if they wiff on the FA's. Went after him last summer and they're in a market for a big. He's not a perfect fit, but if they can get him at a discount, could be worse options.

Pelicans are doomed. They can't scout, so of course they are looking to trade the pick and it's looking like Kris Dunn won't make it to them

Ainge doesn't do even deals.

I wouldn't even pick up a phone call from him if I were a GM.

Biting my tounge so hard right now. What I will say is that this is why a deal will probably not get done.

I want to say I'm not worried about this, and I'm really not. But if Dirk was going to ever be tempted.....

guessing this is the source?

Could shape up to be a very interesting couple of weeks.

I don't understand this. If this draft is considered weak, why should teams move their star players?

So many teams with multiple picks and teams with tonnes of cap room coming up creates a perfect storm.

But if the draft's bad, those picks aren't worth that much.

My problem is more so, even if it was a great draft, which stars are on the realistic trade market? Jeff Teague, Jimmy Butler, Marc Gasol, Jahlil Okafor/Nerlens Noel, Eric Bledsoe, I guess?
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

Because it's not weak (depending on your definition).

It's light at the top, but loaded with depth.

Blake Griffin. At least according to Bill Simmons, his relationship with the team isn't great. Apparently he was afraid of them **** up his quad injury and exactly that happened.

You don't trade starts for depth tho.

The definition of "stars" can cut a wide swath.

Yep its logical for all of those teams to look at veteran options for sure. Tho if I'm the Nuggets I'd be teh most inclined to stay at 7 or move up. And use my later picks on vets.

Also, for what it's worth, apparently Boston discussed a trade for Middleton. Not sure if I believe it was more than Ainge saying "we'll give you 3 and Amir Johnson for Middleton" and Hammond saying "new phone who dis", but hey. It's a random rumor.

Not to mention the two Sixers' picks.

If it's true, you have an idea of the overall quality of this year draft.

I feel like there are so many Boston rumors and none of them will be close to right.

I feel like most of them are probably true, just never happen because Ainge is like that one guy in your fantasy league who just never stops sending trade offers.
