Minny is a better fit anyway . No reason for dallas to trade a pick for the right to max him in 2 and add him to our overpaid max core of noel and barnes

MIN doesn't have enough cap room to offer him a full max, so what about a SNT for Paul Millsap, the vet Thibs is looking for?

You could dump some unwanted contracts in the process: 1st + Rubio + Aldrich + whatever.

ATL drafts a young PF.

PEK is medically retiring and coming off the books. No need to trade him from MN perspective.

That's a crazy overvalue of Millsap on a S&T deal. I also believe that MN can offer him a full max.

Rubio isn't a throw in contract either. Dude has legit value to the Wolves.

No. I wouldn't pay Matthews that contract.

I'd take a turn in FA instead.

I still think Favors, Lyles and Diaw for Payne, Aldrich and the 7th pick is a better offer than all/most of these...

But that's just me.

Aminu and Davis for Dunn. Bolsters Minny's defense.

That is insanely bad for MIL. Not only is #7 and #10 really bad value for Middleton alone but takes away maybe MIL's best outside shooter on a team desperate for more shooting. It also would be a step back for the team, all for the chance to get 2 more non premium picks. It doesn't make any sense for MIL

Talk about over valuing picks (especially picks near the bottom of the top 10).

See how many Wash fans would trade Beal for 7 and 10 or how many POR fans would take 7 and 10 for CJ

I believe MIN will have $33 million in cap room. Millsap will require $35.8. Plus MIN has said they want to keep Muhammed.

I like Rubio for CHA better than LaVine. MIN keeps LaVine while adding a versatile defender, shooting, and a back court alternative to Dunn/Jones. And IMO Dallas is a slight winner here -- they move up 2 spots for an expiring Curry (~ late 1st) and a 2nd rounder.

CHA out: MKG + 11
CHA in: Rubio + 9

MIN out: Rubio + 7
MIN in: MKG + 11 + Curry + 2nd

DAL out: Curry + 9 + 2nd
DAL in: 7

Any interest in Moe Harkless +15 and 20? Would only be really interested if Tatum was still available...

Nothing to do with overvaluing picks its about having cheap talent locked up long term, beal middleton and cj are all tear 3 players so paying them 25m and giving up 2 picks just doesnt make any sense for almost any team tbh. Thats more of a tier 2 guy package ala jimmy butler paul george

Why would the Wolves attempt to dumb Pekovic?
