Are Evans or Spellman good? I liked Spellman coming out but he seems like crap if this is his 3rd team already.

I'm glad we have upgraded our shooting significantly the last 2 days.

This really makes no sense when you consider the Warriors had to use a pick to dumb Iggy to take on Russell in the first place.

Some truth to this. GSW gamble is WIggins looks better in new situation and that said team they trade for star views Wiggins + 2021 FRP as better loot than Russell.

I'd be surprised if when Warriors were trading away picks to clear the cap necessary to S&T for Russel, this is how they saw it ending. I have Russell as the better player and he's friends with Towns. Minny will have a third slot available for 2021 now. Non-zero chance that the Warriors are attaching that first to swap Wiggins for another player next year.

What assets pray tell does Minnesota have to bring in Booker with? Culver and?

Why do you think that?

Because KAT and Russell playing buddy-ball on a team with no structure and no defenders is gonna be a train wreck.

The team has structure. Watch some games.

2020 1st, though that was my least important post. Glad you agree with the rest :)

So theyre going to have their entire cap committed to Dlo, Beasley, and Towns? Ouch

Isn’t Beasley not very good? How much would he make anyways?

Wasnt he asking for a contract in the 20s earlier in the season?

Maybe they will try to trade for Booker this offseason..

Warriors got rid of Russell and got two picks. They completely won the trade.

I've already shared my piece on Russell plenty. Me not rehashing it is not conceding the point.

That isn't going to get Phoenix to bite I cannot imagine.

Plus good luck to Minny trying to win with that trio.

Let me ask those who think GSW won the trade...

If this was the exact same offer to Charlotte for Batum -- the much thought what it would take to swap Wiggins for Batum -- who wins that scenario?

Obviously now with reality foresight, one would vote Charlotte. But I bet just moments ago the same poll would be different. Probably a poll on this subject somewhere and could be bumped.

Get rid of Russell by taking on a vastly inferior player.

Covington couldn't cover for Towns alone, how is he supposed to cover for Towns and Russell?

Well he seemed more promising at that point I guess. 7.9 pts on .511 TS% and 0 all around game, .045 WS/48, -3.2 BPM, seems like a player who should still be fighting for his spot in the league

They just traded a 1st for him though.. so they must believe.

I'm so confused by the Wolves this deadline. I feel like they're KGing Towns

Andrew Wiggins was similarly abysmal at defending.

DLo led Brooklyn to playoffs last year. Wiggins is pure trash. Weird move for GSW.

Beasley's contract will be similar to Brooks with Memphis. He set the market with his new deal.
