Let me try one last way:

If you believe the 3 players you listed are roughly the same, would you like your first or 3rd choice of them?
Do you believe the difference between 3 and 5 is the same as the difference between 21 and 29?
If you do believe that difference to be the same, wouldn't you prefer to have your choice at the top of the draft rather than the bottom?
Do you think a random 2nd has any bearing on any of the above?

Now that's the picks where I will continue to strongly disagree with your valuations. But sounds like now your main point is you want more value for Lauri. I have far less confidence in my ability to know what his value is and if you don't want to trade him for that package, cool.

I just think you are undervaluing the package Utah gets in a meaningful way by how you are valuing the picks.

Plus that 2028 pick has quote a bit of value. Everyone should project their preference in the 3 to 5 range, you have the choice to just take that player regardless of how strong the preference is. E.g. I have a huge preference for Tre Johnson, I assume he won't be there at 5!

Yep. The Utah FO will have their big board and some preference gaps between picks will be larger than others. We each have our own opinions on relative value, but have no idea what the cost tolerance is for the Jazz brass.
