KG is rated way too low and so is Duncan. The guys are getting older, but how many players can virtually carry a team on their back like these two guys do and win an NBA championship?

Exactly. You could throw either of those guys on a cellar-dweller and they would be instant contenders. Teams such as the Bobcats or even the Thunder would compete with one of those guys. Hell, even take away their best player and replace him with KG and that team has a chance.

Either one really, but another note on my voting: I didn't vote for Granger because, while he is a valuable player, he isn't a franchise player ideally. I think he is the perfect Pippen, but shouldn't be carrying the load by himself. If he were paired with LeBron or Wade, the combo would be deadly.

Like a third of this list doesn't play much defense, so why single out Melo?
He absolutely belongs on this list.
I am not even a big Melo fan and it is because of his childish, wannabee thug mentality, but I cannot deny him his due if I am to honestly call myself unbiased.
Even though his attitude and personality have to be held in account to his trade value, his skills just outweigh that.
It also irks me that his D is horrific, but again, his all around game is beastly.

Once again, I feel the need to say, Kevin Durant in no way belongs on this list at all.

Melo is the only guy on that list that absolutely sucks at defense.

Pippen was voted into "The 50 Greatest Players of All Time" list. I'm pretty sure most people would have listen him as one of the top 25 most valuable when he was in his prime.
