I really like this. Gets LAL some defenders, gets Philly a 1st. Not sure who the Rui team is, but I bet they can be found? But a direct trade may also make sense - either Rui, or Vincent + Kleber.

This might not be the right deal but I would like the Lakers to move Rui. I think there's a team out there in need of a PF that would send the Lakers a small asset or two for Rui that they could then use for a starting SF.

Rui is just not a great fit with their big three. He shoots the hell out of the ball but is low volume and too slow-footed and low-IQ defensively. In the last two games JJ opted to close with Gabe and Smart over Rui.

Miami is doing well and the east is pretty weak, but they dont have a real shot against a team like OKC, Den or even LAL

Indy didnt have a shot either, but they came within a game. A team at the top of their conference isnt gonna sell, especially when that team is Miami, who always like to compete.

Lakers doesn’t have as good a chance out of getting out of conference compared to Heats though.

There’s OKC, Den, Hou, Min and probably one team that might finish the season strong whoever that might be.
