Can Simmons just stay in Philly? Their fans seem to think he's amazing. Hope he stays as a Sixer for the rest of his career so we don't have to keep talking about this guy who can't shoot outside of 10 feet.

I fully expect him to practice like twice and then bolt for another 3 months.

Either that or have a Jimmy Butler with the Timberwolves "YOU **** NEED ME" moment with the Sixers third stringers

That's not fair.

Just because Sixers fans weren't on board for dealing Simmons for a pupu platter of losing franchises' discards, doesn't mean that he's "amazing".

He's a multi-time all-star and a consensus top 30 player. Does he have holes in his game? Yup. And they're quite noticeable when the games mean more.

But the concept of some franchises who haven't sniffed the playoffs since Obama was president taking their top 2 or 3 or even 4 assets off the table from any deal is as ludicrous as demanding all star player(s) and 8 first round picks/swaps.

There's a point in the middle where real value for these teams is fairly exchanged.
