If ATL doesnt trade Schroeder:

ATL gets:
#12, Sac, Mem, #27, Bos 19

Bos gets:
#3

LAC gets:
Rozier (You can throw in the LAC pick as a sweetner here if youd like)

They are guaranteed Ayton/Bagley/Doncic. Anything less than Brown or Tatum and the GM should be escorted off the premises.

Not even gonna lie or deny thats a pretty strong offer and Warrens not a bad player at all himself. Theirs no guarantee the Suns don't end up in the top 5 to 8 again next year somehow so you are looking at a very possibly high lottery pick Plus the Hawks high lottery pick themselves next year.

That gives us 4 1st round picks next year Hawks, Cavs, Suns, Bucks 3 this year + 2 near 1st rounders at 16,19, 30, then 31 and 34.

Then you got Warren or Taurean Prince who are both good looking young SF's you could trade either + 16 and 19 to get back into the top 6 to 10 and still take a guy like Porter, Bamba, Young, Sexton etc... if any drop maybe. I really don't see how the Hawks turn this down and this is coming from a guy who is a massive Bagley fan.

Im sure theyll listen to offers but this is what the Hawks need, a high pick like this where the guy has the potential to be a superstar. Hawks have a few nice young pieces on their team but no one who's going to be a superstar and probably no one that will be an all star. If I'm them I take Bagley here and call it a day. The kid is good and prob the 2nd or 3rd best player in the draft.

So the question is simple... What kind of trades can be made?

Would you be interested in a deal based on Brandon Ingram? What more would it take?

Obviously we wouldn't want to include Smith and no other players move the needle enough. And we'd want to put some protections on the pick.

So my offer would be #5, 2019 1st (top 3 protected for 3 years then unprotected) for #3. But the deal only happens if Doncic is sitting there at #3.

So whats the offer to move up to #2 and actually have the realistic shot at Doncic?

Essentially the same.
Using the Celtics and sixers trade as a comp. This offer feels a bit light.

Yeah it might be. That's the problem of being a team like Dallas with so few assets. I can totally understand if the Kings would pass on that offer.

Since there are plenty of rumors going around...

Would a trade centered around KAT for #3 be something?

How about taking your deal and then adding a Zbo/Shump(expirings) for Barnes swap? Dallas clears some space, moves up to #2 to get Doncic or Ayton and the Kings get a SF they need while moving down to #5 and picking up a pick they lost in 2019. Or perhaps a Powell for Shump swap could work too?

You gotta give a lot more than just #3 to get KAT. KAT was the #1 overall pick and he has shown not to be a bust and an all NBA type talent while still only being 22. So its basically youre getting a #1 overall player with 0 risk.

Yeah. Just don't let the Phoenix boards run me out of town for posting it. Doncic would have to be available for that to happen. It would give the Hawks the foundation to rebuild.

This is awful for Atlanta. Poeltl and Powell is probably negative value and 12 and 13 never get you to 3.

Saying poeltl is negative value is just silly, he will have a Steven Adams type career.

Powell would be a rotation player on 90% of teams in the nba but was stuck in the one backcourt that has 4 guards legitimately better than him. No front office is going to look at this season only when evaluating him

I saw Powell and Poeltl are negative value. Powell is a bad contract and Poeltl is worth less than a first at this point.

And I think your expectations of Steven Adams seem pretty high, but I hope that works out.

The fact that you think poeltl has anything close to negative value means that you don’t have an accurate opinion of any of the raps young players; he has been great for them.
