JW, what's ridiculous money?

Absolutely shocked that a certain poster here is STILL unable to grasp why Holiday shouldn't have anywhere near this value relative to Bledsoe or the case I've made on the matter time and time again only to insert word after word into my mouth.

Yeah JHoliday is not much of an upgrade over Bledsoe, if any....

Holiday - Career per 36 min - 17.2 ppg, 6.9 apg, TS% .529, USG% 23.6 -- Per 100 poss. - ORtg 105, DRtg 108

Bledsoe - Career per 36 min - 18.3 ppg , 6.3 apg, TS% .558 USG% 23.9 -- Per 100 poss. - ORtg 108, DRtg 107

those 3 FRPs and swaps will bury them long term... short term, the Bucks are still title contenders but NOT any better than just hours ago

I’m thinking something over $20 million per year. I love Bogi. He’s so much fun and has an awesome personality, but I am not so sure he’s worth more than $15 million.

A sign and trade wouldn’t be a RFA deal that could be matched. The Hawks signing him could be, though.

I don't think career stats are the right way to compare them. I haven't looked, but my strong hunch would be that Bledsoe has been worse than Holiday for the last several years, especially if you adjust for him playing on a historical juggernaut.

No, he's not. He's a lateral move.

The Bucks own front office thinks Jrue is 3 1sts and 2 pickswaps better than Bledsoe.

Even if this is enough to keep Giannis, how do you improve the team beyond holiday, Giannis and Middleton?

I don't know why you think that somehow makes a case it's not a lateral move, because it doesn't. It's almost as if year after year, we have deals made that are imbalanced, leaning from one team to another as far as advantages are concerned, despite every deal being "value checked head to head."
