Doesn't seem like Minnesota is going to give up Edwards, but I could be wrong.

You gotta think without decent player/s as the centrepiece to the deal (neither Price or Bev are quality pieces, they are peripheral) the pick list (picks and swaps) would be huge, especially assuming that the wolves would actually be a good team finally (In theory)

Seems both teams have a lot of pressure on them to pull off a Beal/Simmons deal - if he'll go there.

Washington had a lot of incentive to get Simmons to go with Beal; some deal around Westbrook, young players and picks. They have little to get Simmons to replace Beal considering the personel; they would have a get a strong talent advantage with it because most of the guys they just got (Dinwiddie, Harrell, KCP) are not guys who can shoot and score.

I like the idea of Simmons in OKC. It might be best overall situation for him to regain confidence and pair with a guy like SGA for Presti to build around. If the goal if to use Giddens, you're probably look at a framework of 6 picks going to Portland

They should have got the Harden deal done last year, just made too much sense. If it got hung up on Maxey, that's just a mistake and confirmation bias thinking they had found someone irreplaceable at pick 21.

It is tough seeing the Beal via Minnesota trade happening, imo, unless Edwards was headed to Washington, maybe with additional comp headed to Minny.

I don't know where he is going to end up, this should be fun, but it could get ugly, I can't imagine Philly just giving him away, either.

I think if we cant get Fox level player (and I don't believe we can at this point) I'd prefer a lot of picks from Wolves or Kings. Sixers will have 7-8 picks + Maxey, Thybulle for next star and I trust those 2 franchises to **** it up somehow in couple of years.

the longer the season drags on and he’s at home the worst the 76ers so we will see what morey does

I am trying to see this thru Philly lenses. If I am trading Simmons. What do I want to help me win a championship? I need a facilitator who can run my offense and be able to guard his position. That should be #1. Brogdon or Fox seems the best options. Is Fox available? I can't see Siakam or another forward of that caliber being much interest to Philly.

Is Brogdon, Warren, 2022 1st rd pick appealing to Philly for Simmons and Maxey?

Is Fox, Barnes, 1st rd pick from Sac appealing?

It will probably take a 3rd team maybe a 4th.

Thats a good point about the Kings/ Wolves. Obviously picks give you guys a war chest, but it takes time to spend it (or **** it up like Ainge did). The clock is on Embiid's health to try and accelerate team improvement (IMHO).
