2. Bagley for Bazeley is something I'd actually consider.
Edited: Also wrt 1, maybe an overreaction still but the age of the roster didn't hit me until I saw it and seeing Westbrook/Rondo/Melo all in a lineup was a sight. In one game it was every concern you could muster lol.
People are already trying to find how to trade away Westbrook.
Well that's not happening.
It's going to be weird, and the fit was always weird. But if the plan is to use him as a spot up shooter with 2 centers on court I'm not really sure what's going on.
I think the plan was get Lebron to the playoffs healthy and rested. And I still think Westbrook is going to help them on nights when Lebron sits and minutes when Lebron is off the court. But yeah they don't have enough shooting, which we knew. And their perimeter defense is going to be a major issue all year and while I trust Lebron, AD, and Vogel to cover up some of that, they can't cover up all of it.
Bottom line is the league has 2 teams clearly ahead of everyone else. And they played in the other game last night. Then its teams like Denver and Utah and Phoenix at the top of the West. I think the Lakers are playing for a 5 or 6 seed, would take a better one if they could get it, but won't kill themselves to get there.
Some nights are going to be ugly. But Russ isn't this bad. And Lebron/Vogel will figure out how to get more out of Westbrook.
