If I'm philly I'd much rather cut out Sac as I have McDaniels, Beasley and Maxey as more valuable than Hield and the 1st. Seems that this over values Hield on his contract.

I am absolutely gonna love seeing Ben get traded for nothing close to the moon and a couple of first Born children philly fans want. This is a mess and Ben just tanked his value by demanding out and burning that bridge.

Oh yeah that offer is not close.

I think GSW offers Wiggins, Kuminga, 2022 1st for Simmons. There will probably be better offers on the table from Sac & MIN but it will come down to how stubborn Simmons is for his preferred destinations.

With the type of reports we’re seeing and the Maxey stuff I feel like it’s more likely Philly overpays but gets a guy like Fox

Yep, that’s the same offer I’d land on. But if Sacramento and Minnesota make better offers (or somebody else for that matter), I don’t think Morey will care what Simmons wants, he’ll just take what he thinks is best for the 76ers.

(Though obviously Simmons could become a jerk and drive competing offers down……)

That's not something I'd be interested in for Sacramento. If the 1st is involved I would want a singular player coming back with a higher ceiling rather than a package of meh guys.

Yeah if Klutch makes it known Simmons won’t cooperate that’s the only way I see Simmons to GSW.

I could also see GSW adding more pick capital if Maxey gets involved but still would assume someone outbids them.

Indy's rotation becomes:
Simmons, LeVert, Warren, Sabonis, Turner -- McConnell, Lamb, J-Rich, Oshae, Goga

That's a massive starting squad, not sure if it fits.

They can’t replace him with another guy that’s as good as him over the cap . So no hurts them let him sit

Kings still have to give up a guy with a clear all-star future who has repeatedly and from the beginning expressed a desire to be in and stay in Sacramento, which is a rare combination of traits. Giving that up for a guy as big of a mental question mark as Simmons would be scary, and it's hard to foresee the franchise doing it.

I'll say this. If we can do some tampery talks with Simmons (as I'm sure all involved teams are doing) where we find that he actually would like to be here, that would make me less nervous. I still just like Fox more as a player, though I understand the arguments for Simmons.

Not really sure how much value the Kings are really stealing here, given that Hield hasn't been to jail lately. Guess it depends on the protections of that pick.

I defend Buddy to being a capable super efficient 20/5/3 player in the right scenario, but this does overvalue him now

Pacers: Simmons & Maxey for Brogdon, Lamb, 2025 1st round pick, picks swap option in 2026, 2027 1st round pick.

Pacers run a Levert-Duarte-Simmons-Sabonis-Turner lineup, enough playmaking and shooting to make it work on offense, great size on D.

Sixers get win now players at 1-3 positions, draft picks to compensate for the ones they owe OKC.

I'm not sold the Nugs would have any interest, but Simmons seems like a better version of Gordon who could fit the same way as Gordon did with Murray, Barton, MPJ and Jokic but who was better playmaking skills.

Value is going to be the question, but Philly could be similar or a better team after this deal IMO. Denver takes on a bit of salary and luxury tax, but the results might be worth it.

one of murray or mpj.

well did harden get mvp type package? if ben is traded now he will command a similar haul to harden.
but i agree if it gets past trade deadline, his trade value will plummet.

First off, lol at they can offer Buddy Hield

Secondly, that's from our beat writer at the Sacramento Bee. Is he inferring that the Sixers would for sure do the deal if either were offered, or is that posturing from our FO?

i like kings going after simmons offering fox for ben, maxey. they havent made playoffs in decades its time to make the final push and balance the roster where simmons dont ever have to shoot and still be the main option like magic. philly can also claim they won the trade after acquiring all star caliber. rare win win.

Raps fans will hate it but I think it’s going to be Fred, OG and Chris Boucher for Simmons.

the thing is fox has that bad rep never making playoffs and ben is a mvp candidate in rs which kings desperately need.
getting ben would guarantee a playoff spot for kings. potential is futile when you cant realize it its better to make ben simmons into a point center like dray green and develop mitchell, hali into all stars. they will all take hit if fox is there.
both fox and ben need a fresh start.

"unlikely" is an interesting word. Seems kind of like they are saying won't to the players and fans in case they don't get traded, while also saying to Philly that it's a possibility.
