Raptors Offseason Convinces Bosh (TOR / CLE & TOR / DET)

Post#1 » by Rapsobsessed7 » Mon Jun 7, 2010 2:07 am

Toronto Sends:
Jose Calderon
Rights to #13

Cleveland Sends:
Mo Williams
JJ Hickson

Raptors get a PG that fits beside Hedo better, would play a role like Nelson did. Which makes this very interesting hes also been an all-star which may convince Bosh if the follow is made.

Cleveland gets #13 to get someone like Paul George/Xavier Henry/Hassan Whiteside/Pattrick Patterson/Daniel Orton so they get options there.

Toronto Sends:
Reggie Evans
Marcus Banks

Detroit Sends:
Richard Hamilton

Toronto gets a SG to play off the ball and only further Bosh staying with Hamilton

Detroit gets expiring contracts for Hamilton

Mo Williams / Jarret Jack / Chucky Atkins (minimum)
Richard Hamilton / Demar Derozan / Marco Belinelli
Hedo Turkoglu / Sonny Weems
Chris Bosh / JJ Hickson / Joey Dorsey
Andrea Bargnani / Amir Johnson / Josh Powell (signed)

that team can go VERY far IMO. It has a tonn of potential, has young players, depth, increased defense, just everything that would be appealing to Bosh IMO. He gets to be the man still too.

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

Cleveland really has no reason to do that trade. They either think LeBron is going to stay, in which case they're not trading players for picks, or they think he's going to leave, in which case if they trade Mo it won't be for Calderon.

Wow, I stopped right there. Never going to happen.

With Mo Williams, Rip Hamilton, Hedo Turkalu and Andrea Bargnini as 4/5ths of the starting linup, Toronto would have to have Dwight Howard as the 5th starter to avoid having the worst defense in the league again.

Raptors follow this up with a Bosh for Bynum trade.

Honestly. If you have Hedo Turkoglu on your team, you need someone who can set screens and catch the ball in motion, and Bosh cannot do either.

Honestly, that wouldn't be a terrible team.

Mo / Jack
Rip / DeRozan
Turk / Weems
Bargs / Amir
Bynum / #13 (Whiteside/Orton)

Not great, but maybe a shot at the playoffs.

CLE says no (if Bron bolts without a S&T then they want exprinings & picks - not Calderon), DET says yes & Bosh looks at the complete lack of financial flexibility and says no thanks.

Defense really hasn't improved that much (if at all), as both the starters were playing within much better defensive schemes than what Toronto has had.

Yup. Although with a PG and SG who don't need the ball, and with Bosh no longer around to need it, the chances of him playing well are certainly better.

If those trades convince Bosh to stay, Bosh is an idiot.

We need to get rid of the Euros on this team, thats the only freaking problem. 1/2 euros is plenty to bring in the versatility, but having like 5 euros, year after year, is just sad.

BC should also be shot or fired.
