Charlie is garbage and what else they have there? Greg Monroe is a center cuz he is slow.

Maxiell, Wilcox, Charlie V. Charlie isnt a world beater, but he isnt garbage, still puts up 10+ppg in just over 20 mins a game.

Jerebko is better than all of them. just saying

I think losing Rip is probably worth it for Detroit (?), although I think they'd rather keep Prince.

what if the Pistons just kept Terrico White would everyone be happy? Jerebko really has starter potential?

I think the point of this trade from the Pistons' perspective would be getting Milsap and clearing the Gordon/Rip logjam at SG. Most Detroit fans on these boards would gladly trade Rip for pure equal value expirings, and K-Mart's expiring deal is actually worth about $4M more than Rip's deal, I believe. On top of that, the Pistons trade Tayshaun's expiring deal for Milsap & Balkman (who's basically just a throw in)? Hell yes, and in a New York minute, too. In fact, I think the Clips, Jazz and Pistons all accept this; the question (of course) is Denver. Just how much are they gonna demand back in any Melo trade? Don't get me wrong, that's a pretty solid package (with a couple of young assets and a huge expiring deal), but they may have unrealistic expectations and demand even more.

If Pistons do this

PG - Stuckey - Bynum
SG - Gordon - McGrady
SF - Jerebko - Daye - Summers
PF - Charlie - Millsap - Maxiell - Wilcox - Balkman
C - Ben - Monroe

I would do it, although I would try to keep White

I would then try to make a move for a C.

Millsap may be able to get us something.

I take a pass if I'm Utah. I'd rather have Okur at his contract than Rip at his. I'd rather have AK than Prince (his expiring contract is for more money, as well). Kaman would be perfect for us, but we're giving up two of our three big men in this trade, and only getting one big man back. If Millsap goes, then who's going to be our third big -- Francisco Elson?

Does anyone really believe that Carmelo would agree to an extension to remain with the Clippers?

if he joined Stat and Felton in New York they will always be worse than the Heat and never would beat the Lakers ever, unless Amare somehow can be like Hakeem but i doubt that.
