DCash had to run out the door, so I told him I'd cross-post this here.

Hey trade game board users,

i'm creating this thread to extend an invitation to all of you to join a nation-simulation game that many realgm users take part in. from this board, miller4ever, snakebites, cellardoor, sambone, bcortell, rocdogg, lukearts, sabasrevenge!, warpite, Garmfay, and myself are long time members. in total we have around 60 realgm users from every fanbase/board on rgm.

here's a description of the game:

http://www.cybernations.net/

Cyber Nations is the most popular persistent browser-based nation simulation game on the Internet. Create a nation and decide how you will rule your people by choosing a government type, a national religion, tax rate and more. Build your nation by purchasing infrastructure to support your citizens, land to expand your borders, technology to increase your effectiveness, military to defend your interests, and develop national improvements and wonders to build your nation according to your choosing.

our realgm alliance in the game is known as the Basketball Ninjas and we have our own forum. its where all of the talk about the game occurs. If it sounds like something you'd want to learn more about, please register an account at our forum where you can get more information, ask questions, and get your nation started.

http://z4.invisionfree.com/BasketballNinjas/index.php

feel free to ask questions here too, and let me know if you registered an account and under what name. accounts have to be approved, so you won't be able to read anything til we know who you are and admin pushes that approve button.

I dont' get it...
Do you chose the location of your country? The climate? The industry?

There would be certain advantages to not being land locked....or stuck in the polar caps....

Yeah, it's definitely a great community of RGM'ers over at Basketball Ninjas (BN for short), and the Game itself is fun.

To avoid over-complicating things, the Game focuses on Infrastructure, Land, Military, Tech, and Natural Resources (among a few other minute nuances).

You do chose your Countries location, but it plays no major part in the Game.

Feel free to ask anymore questions, and the link provided above offers the Alliance location, so that you can get a feel of things.

Good luck!

Good stuff. One of your Rocket's Mods T-Mac is also a member, and doing quite well too I believe.

Good to know that there are some Rockets fans to class up the joint! (I say as I sit here in slippers, drinking a beer and watching episodes of Swamp People)

^It's all good, as long as it's a good Beer. ;) :D

Yeah, he (your Rockets Mod) caught on fast, and wasn't afraid to ask questions on the Board when he wasn't sure of what something meant or how it was done.

After a little while everything really does become 2nd nature and automatic for you, taking literally 5-10 Minutes a Day to do. The real fun is the community build within the Alliance that keeps things active, and convo flowing, adding another layer to the Game.

Just last Month we completed our 1st Annual Fantasy B-Ball League, for some serious in-game antis. :D

The first couple weeks might be a little confusing.. kind of like learning how to play any other game, but it is easy to pick up and a ton of good people to help (like myself).
