Mayo to SAC via PHX & NY

SAC IN:
OJ Mayo
Eddy Curry

SAC OUT:
Sam Dalembert
Carl Landry
SAC 2nd round pick

SAC: They get Tyrekes back court mate for years to come. Kings finally get a knockdown shooter that they have been severly missing. They would/should just tell Curry to stay home

MEM IN:
Carl Landry
Earl Clark
SAC 2nd round pick

MEM OUT:
OJ Mayo
Darrell Arthur

MEM: They lose Mayo, but get a good low post scorer in Landry who is a good character/team guy and will cost a lot less to resign this offseason than Randolph and would fit nicely next to Gasol. They also get Earl Clark who has not gotten a chance to do much in Phoenix, but seems to do well when he gets a chance.

NY IN:
Sam Dalembert
Darrell Arthur

NY OUT:
Anthony Randolph
Eddy Curry

NY: They get rid of the headcase that is Curry and pick up a real team guy in Dalembert who can help anchor that D and make up for Amares defensive shortcomings. A team who is doing really well right now would get that much harder to score on. Also get Arthur who can provide some minutes off the bench

PHX IN:
Anthony Randolph

PHX OUT:
Earl Clark

PHX: They lose Clark and replace him with Randolph who could really flourish next to Nash.

I really see no need for the Grizz to trade for Landry, or the Kings would simply trade Landry for Mayo straight up. Kick out NY, and work out something between Memphis/Phoenix/Sacramento.

Skate, you are right about NY, when I looked at it when I finished I noticed how unessential they were to the overall of the trade. I do not see MEM trading Mayo for Landry straight up.

Not too shabby, huh? :D

SAC gets a backcourt mate for Evans.

MEM gets a dynamic 2 guard to help in their play-off push and a starting PF on a great contract.

PHX gets the rebounder that they desperately lack.

I was thinking that exact same thing, was gonna post something about that idea, but something came up, and when I came back you had that up. I literally had the same idea.

I think it looks good all-around.

Cheers!

Now we just wait to get Memphis's opinion.

Knicks are down on Randolph, that's for sure. However they wouldn't include in a deal for Dally. Dally can't help the Knicks past this year nor can he help get Melo, but Randolph can in both situations. I have no problem in doing a Curry for Dally swap, with Curry you save some money and is not a headcase but rather just useless. Arthur is a solid player, but at this point in time not enticing enough to move Randolph.

Who cares. They gave the Lakers Pau Gasol so their opinions are moot.

This is a joke, right? Richardson and Landry for Randolph and Mayo? Richardson gets plenty of touches for his points in Phoenix that he wouldn't get in Memphis. Randolph is twice the player on the boards that landry is and almost twice the scorer.

Memphis doesn't give this one much time before saying no.

Ya, I know. It's not like realgm has ever been about fair trades. At least not since I joined in 2001. :D

Memphis owes the rest of the NBA one free pass due to the Gasol trade, so they're not allowed to deny this trade from happening ;)
