Orlando trades: Jameer Nelson
Charlotte trades: Boris Diaw, Kwame Brown

Why for Orlando? With Arenas coming in, they're going to have four guys that are capable of playing the PG position. This will allow them to play Arenas at PG and give them a PF that would fit with the team. They also get a needed backup C.

Why for Charlotte? They get a nice upgrade at the PG position.

Orlando can get better value for Meer.

It's a good concept though.

Is there a realsitic package that Charlotte could create? I would love to have Jameer in Charlotte. How about something like DJ added to the package? Boris, DJ, and Kwame for Jameer and BB or QRich?

What about Tyrus and Kwame for Q-Rich and Nelson

I think it'd take Wallace or Sjax for Jameer. Possibly along the lines of:

for

Nelson/Orton/Richardson

Wallace for Nelson, Orton, 1st is probably the only trade Orlando would have interest in.

S-Jax is not needed with Gil/JRich/Redick in the backcourt. Diaw is not wanted anywhere.

I'd rather keep Diaw honestly. And Diaw is wanted several places because he's almost been included as the main piece in teams for two trades in the past 4 months.

Diaw's production goes beyond his stats, which is what realgm'ers seem to only go by nowadays.

Orlando wants more for Nelson than Diaw and Kuwamee. I just heard
Van Gundy say he will start and somebody else will com off bench. Otis even said on NBA TV that moving Lewis for Arenas was a hard sell to the Family ownership because he was liked in orlando. Jeemeer is Loved.

This team can make the playoffs7-8 seed now and build next year..
This move frees up a ton of cap space in 2011 and gives us an extra1st round pick in 2011 and another pick for 2012 back from Chicago ..It makes us financially solvent(consolidation proof)
in lockout season and all our draft picks back. Also a young team to build like the OKC Thunder

That team is awful, I thought you were going to put the tanking spin on it.

But to say a team which has UPs and DBrick starting is going to make the playoffs is just delusional.
