TOR/GS

To Toronto: Gadzuric
To Golden State: Barbosa

Why for Toronto? They get some additional cap room this summer with the expiring contract of Gadzuric, not sure he'd play much in Toronto this year.
Why for Golden State? They get somebody similar to Ellis and Curry that can back them up, give the team a boost off of the bench and fit right in.

See http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.php?tradeid=5800083 for more details.

What do you guys think?

Tempting, but GSW took a hit to get rid of salary, which would make it kinda goofy to do a U turn now, unless it's something that clearly helps, and Barbosa does not help enough (if he did Toronto would want to keep him.

Can't see the Warriors doing this. Monta Ellis is like a rich, rich, rich man's Barbosa. If they're dealing Gadz, they'd probably look to upgrade the front court.

Don't think GS needs another combo guard, especially not one who costs 7+ million next year.

+1. The Warriors want a substantially better return for their EC's than a badly overpaid Barbosa who won't be playing for Golden State unless Toronto first buys out the balance of his contract. Barbosa's trade value is dramatically higher if he were dead but the basic problem is Toronto is trying to trade Leandro while he's still alive and owed $14.7 million for this season and the next

Nah no thanks. rather keep the expiring and use it with our expirings which will total 17 million this offseason to find another solid big.

You really need some new material.

throw in Charlie Bell and id do it.
Bell has 1 more year at 4mill
so were essentially only taking on 3mill next year

Gadz, Bell
for
Barbosa

SOLD

I probably could go with that, though I'm not sure the Raptors would (or should)

Yeah this is a great idea. According to Realgm, Curry and Ellis cannot coexist cause theyre both small and dont play d.

Warriors faithful: So how can we upgrade Realgm?
Realgm: I know... you can add Leandro Barbosa!

Gotta love Realgm.

I would do the Bell and Gadz for Barbosa, but just an EC for Barbosa.... nah

Easy yes from Toronto I don't see why Golden State wants yet another undersized SG esp with Barbosa's money next year.

Toronto doesn't touch this deal with Charlie Bell the guy is useless on Toronto. I would rather the James Johnson and CJ Watson and spare parts deal from Chicago

Problem is with Ellis playing over 40 a night (leads the league) and Curry when healthy probably playing 35-40, there just aren't enough minutes for a 7 Million dollar man although a Gadz + Bell for Leandro and I'm at least listening. Definitely not worth a straight expiring. You might try someone else who needs a combo guard with some scoring punch.

edited for content.

Yeah, the one with the Charlie Bell attached is a no go for the Raps.

W's need incentive to add a year of salary here.
