Clips - Heat - Bucks - Jazz

Post#1 » by Mich3006 » Mon Dec 12, 2011 5:08 pm

Clippers out: Mo Williams
Clippers in: Carlos Delfino, Joel Anthony

Heat in: Mo Williams
Heat out: Mike Miller, Joel Anthony, 1st Rd Pick 2014

Bucks in: Paul Millsap
Bucks out: Ersan Ilyasova, Larry Sanders, Carlos Delfino

Jazz in: Ersan Ilyasova, Larry Sanders, Mike Miller, 1st Rd Pick 2014
Jazz out: Paul Millsap

The Clippers add another SG and a backup C, the Heat get a top 10 PG in Williams, the Bucks add their highly needed PF and the Jazz add some talent, a veteran and a future draft pick...

Why in heaven's name would we trade a proven 17 and 8 guy like Millsap, on a great contract, for washed up Miller, who's also injured, what amounts to a second round pick, and two players we don't need?

The Jazz aren't trading Millsap for Mike Miller's cappy 24 million long-term contract. He or the other two players that Utah get aren't needed. Also I may be mistaken but I don't think that Miami can trade their 2014 1st round pick as they owe the Cavs their 2013 and 2015 picks.

No from the Heat for me. We don't have picks as it is, and aside from losing our only center, there's a reason we didn't want to amnesty Mike Miller.

Heat can't do this ('13 pick and '15 picks owed, or if the team is bottom 10 in '13 then it is the '14 and '16...) and Heat can't do this (dropping their only center and a shooter for a superflous shooter).

And Utah should be able to get something a little more useful then Sanders (that team doesn't need another project raw big) and a end of the 1st round future pick for Milsap.

But really I'm not buying top 10 pg for Mo Williams.

Wave a magic wand and swap your Turk for that other Turk Purell Chick and you may have piqued my attention (slightly). That kid can score the ball.
