POR all-in this year

POR out/ORL in:
Batum, Oden, Wallace, Camby, Babbitt, future 1st

ORL out/POR in:
Howard, Turkoglu

ORL gets Wallace who they wanted in the 3-way deal with NJ plus talented youth and salary relief.

POR goes all-in with Felton/Crawford/Matthews/Aldridge/Howard. They're not on the list of places he'd extend, but they try to win it all this year, and worst case rebuild next year around Matthews, Aldridge, and max capspace. Batum is the only big piece for the future going out, and even a one-year rental of Dwight is worth it if it makes them contenders.

Really??

Did you notice this was for an unextended Dwight Howard? And that it included a draft pick, which cannot be until 2015, since we already owe a 2013 pick.

The 2012 free agent class is basically Dwight and Williams (Dwight leaving us, and Williams wants to be in New York), then not much else. If Portland doesn't make a big splash with our cap (which is overrated since we will be paying Turk still!!), we stand to start losing some very good picks to first Charlotte than Orlando.

If Orlando can get more than this for Dwight, more power to them, but Portland couldn't afford to do this deal at all...

ignoring the feasibility, why would portland trade wallace and batum? they should trade one of them and then one of crawford and matthews. why ship three small forwards?
