Vote: Kevin Durant
Nominate: Rajon Rondo
KG is young and the best scorer. Dwight would be the most valuable, but is on that short term contract. LeBron is the best player, but is 27.

#1 is LeBron. Still the league's best player (IMHO) and unquestionably its biggest ticket. I know he has his detractors (and I understand why) but I can't imagine anyone on this list having higher value than him.
Nominate Chris Paul, now that he has promised not to opt out of his contract next year.
EDIT-- my mistake, I read the list too fast and didn't see that Paul was already on it. Instead I nominate Carmelo Anthony.

LeBron. Sells the tickets, the merchandise, the TV contracts.
Oh, and he's averaging: 8 RB, 7 AST, 30 PPG
NOMINATE: Hmmm ... great top ten. I guess I'll throw John Wall's name out there. Superstar potential, and locked into a rookie deal makes him 5-6 years before he could force his way out!

I remember i voted Durant last year for #1 too. Heres what i said.
No question. If there was one guy i'll rather have in the entire NBA to build a franchise with. Its Durant.
Look at this guy taking out his own trash.
I'll vote for Durant every year.
yes i know that video is viral marketing, its still funny to see

Yes, LeBron's numbers are great, but if I team actually traded for and acquired him it could give them a very bad name. He has already made himself the villain of the entire NBA. I think that lowers his value.

He can score and defend. His only problem has been his spot up shooting, which looks like it's not a problem anymore. I feel he is already a better all-around player than Granger. He's only 21 and doesn't take dumb shots and makes smart passes, he's a really good passer, something a lot of vets in the league still can't seem to do. He's got all the athleticism in the world and plenty of skill to go with it. I'm seeing Love get plenty of nominations, no offense, but what value does a box score really hold? His rookie year was by far his best year win-loss wise, yet his team only won 24 games. GM's get fired over players like him. If he's got a lot of value, then fine, but he'll go through his share of GM's over his career.
