How about the fans trolling Laker fans for even suggestion someone would give up an asset and take Luke Walton for just a first round pick?

Only obvious crow i can think of is from that cavs/lakers thread, someone gotta have said something in all those pages, i didn't follow it too closely.

The other serving of crow has to be warriors fans regarding what their team did with the Bogut trade. traded for high priced, injury prone player, and compromised their chances the playoffs this yr. basically the opposite of what they said they team would do.

Not eating crow on this, but I would have if I saw someone propose Cook and a 2nd round pick for Nick Young.

The two people I thought would be traded for sure was Kaman and Nash;l neither traded.

Not eating crow on me repeadely saying Dallas will not trade Marion because he is too valuble to us.

I said Nick Young wouldn't waive Bird rights to go to LAL. He waived them to go to LAC, although they have the full MLE unlike LAL which has the smaller one. I might even have said he wouldn't to LAC, will have to check.

I'm AM eating crow on Howard like a lot of people.

I'm NOT eating crow in saying that the Blazers would not accept taking on Steve Blake or Luke Ridnour's contracts.

Yep, I was wrong. Think Cleveland made a bad decision, but I'm not their front office.

Addition: several 'Fisher won't be traded!' peeps
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I'm definitely in for a helping from the Walton/Sessions thread. Tip of the hat to rugby-hook on that one!

I also thought that this was going to be a very quiet deadline, and that too was wrong.

I am surprised Sacramento did not do anything with their cap space. And that Indiana only did Barbosa. I thought a West/Gasol trade would have helped both teams but that did not happen.

I would had bet money that D.J. Augustin for a late 1st would had been done.

id think the wizards would expect a bit more than scraps as well, as evident by the quote in the OP.

They can expect whatever they want, but they arnt going to get it.

I expect the strippers who give me lap dances not to have stretch marks, and they expect my $20 bills not to be counterfeit. Surprises all around.

I could swear i read they (Blazers&Lakers) were all aboard, but it was the Wolves who put a stop to the trade.

Nope. It was reported from a number of places that the Blazers were putting the halt on it because they didn't want to take on Blake's contract.

the final report i saw was the wolves pulling out cause they didn't want to take back fisher and the lakers insisted on dumping fisher. the blazers were satisfied with their end of the deal, which was simply a 1st for crawford.

so blazers didn't pull out, but they weren't going to end up with blake.

I'll eat crow.

I thought NJ turned the corner and was in store for big things when it turns out we are ran worse now then we had been in the Marbury days.

Losing out on Dwight was one thing, couldn't really control that.

But to have no backup plan and then pull off one of the single handed worst trades in league history, yeah, that kind of blindsided me.

Wait, what? The part about going for the playoffs this year is true. The rest doesn't seem right at all. I thought GS fans had been telling everyone that we were holding out for a center if we were trading Monta. And we nailed that. Turns out we couldn't get a good one unless we passed on a playoff run this season.

Bogut was the top trade target on my list since last season.

Anyway, I think the point of the thread is to eat your own crow, not to ask others to do so.

My crow: I picked Portland to finish 4th in the West this season.

And I picked Minny to be in the bottom 3 of the West.
