I would laugh if The Bucks just handed Houston #12 for Sammy D, I wonder if it's some sort of Sammy D and K-Mart for Ellis and Gooden type of deal

Please Jesus don't include Gooden back to Houston

Dalembert and the 14th pick go to the Bucks for the 12th pick, Jon Brockman, Jon Leurer and Brockman, sources tell Y!

Easier to read version....

Dally
14

for

12
Brockman
Leurer
Livingston (just added per woj)

Seems like a steal for The Bucks, they got a defensive presence in Dally and moved up 2 spots all for Brockman who looks like journey man type who is a 10th man off the bench and Leuer who might be decent.

I think The Rockets are seriously putting a package together for Howard with their picks + Dally and K-Mart's expiring deals

From a Rockets POV Dalembert was going to be traded no matter what.

Really like this move for us. Leuer is a nice piece. #12 > #14. Dalembert was a goner as I said. Livingston is only $1M guaranteed and he actually might be a nice backup for a year. Brockman I imagine will be bought out or cut.

Bucks move down, not up... and we won't be trading Dally to Orlando because we just traded him to Mil.

Are you high or something?

Not bad for the Bucks. Dalembert isn't the best but they badly needed a center. I'm assuming Bucks are keeping Daly.

For the Rockets, depends on what they do with the #12 pick. They just added additional cap (as compared to waiving Daly's partially guaranteed) for a bunch of players who probably won't play for them. I guess they'll be filler for the next trade? Or to fill out the roster if a bunch of guys go out in a big name trade.

Missed that Livingston has only $1m guaranteed. So that's roughly $2.7m of guaranteed money incoming, and Daly's $1.5m guaranteed outgoing? Still a bit of a cap hit, but not much.

so this means Bucks will not go after Leonards/Zeller?

Leuer is un-guaranteed. Livingston only has $1 million guaranteed, or is $3.5 million if kept. Brockman is guaranteed $1 million (his entire contract). Dalembert had $1.5 million guaranteed, but $6.7 million if kept.

Thus, if all players are waived, Houston essentially payed $.5 million to move up 2 spots. Not bad. If they think Brockman could fill Dalembert's spot, and that Houston would have been forced to keep Dalembert, then they just saved a great sum of money. If they think Livingston can be a solid backup PG to Dragic, and they intend to trade Lowry, they have just filled needs as well.

Lots of options for Houston. Solid value trade for Milwaukee. Dalembert instantly becomes their starting center, at a very affordable price, and forms a nice little tandem at center with Udoh. All for only trading down 2 spots.

HOU GM must be having a great time playing with the Trade Checker.

Love this trade for the Bucks. Dalembert isn't great but he's better than what they had at center now plus they only needed to drop down two spots.

Thanks Scoot. It does seem to be win win.

Houston stealing Leuer is going to be one of the most relevant parts of this deal. Leuer had the 6th highest PER this year among 500 MP+ rookies and you just know Houston is a place where a stretch big man will be used right. I would say he has the value of a top 25 pick. So MIL basically gave up 12 and a late 1st to move down 2 spots and take Dalembert's contract. Hammond gonna Hammond

I actually think the Bucks did OK here, too.

Giving up Leuer sucks, but if they're gonna re-sign Iyasova, they were going to have one or two bigs too many anyway.

Dalembert isn't any great, but he does the job for the most part.

I also like this move because for whatever reason I enjoy watching the Bucks play and if for nothing else, this move should help them improve if ever so slightly in the short term.

This is all out takes to move up 2 spots? Lol at every pick swap thread on this board. Just goes to show how delusional fans are with picks.

So is the next move for Houston #14 and #18 for #10 and #46?

Nice little trade by Milwaukee. Leuer could be useful, but you gotta consider there was probably a reason Skiles stopped playing him. I think the reason begins with the letter D.

So, Houston now has who at center? Have they done away with the center position?
