Miami looking to upgrade the bigs rotation, looking for (preferably) a starting PF or, a Center to play next to Bosh.

Miami owns the next Sixers first round draft pick, which will possibly be in the 15-18 range.

The Heat can offer that pick and if needed to add Norris Cole, Joel Anthon, James Jones.

Could they get J.J. Hickson or Jason Smith? What Decent bigs could be obtained in a realistic trade?

You could probably get Biedrins for Anthony and Mike Miller

I think that pick would be enough to get Hickson. In fact I think he would be perfect for MIA problem is I don't see PDX taking back any player who doesn't have an ending contract. Does MIA have a trade exemption or a potential trade partner to make a 3 way deal work?

Well in that case the heat can offer the pick + Dexter Pittman + Terall Harris (both ending) + James Jones (1.5 Mil for next year)

The numbers should work.

You can take Byron Mullens for the Philly pick and James Jones and dexter Pittman.

Mullens is the wrong fit. Hickson is interesting.

I don't like Hickson. He makes too many mental mistakes, particularly on D.

I think Jason Smith is very solid and would be a great fit for Miami. Solid rebounder + defender and with a good mid-range jumper. I certainly think the 76ers pick would be enough.

We might do Patterson for that 1st, but would need a little more.

Blazers have a full roster already, so not doing a 3-1. And not going to take on jones' salary for next season.

A team with cap space, in need of a back-up big might take Anthony for a 2nd - Houston or Sac perhaps?

L.A. wouldn't do it but from a strict value standpoint Jordan Hill is worth a first to me, especially playing next to an outside shooter like Bosh. A late 1st that is.
