If you believe all teams would accept this trade, vote yes. If you believe otherwise, vote no. Please explain your vote.

Cleveland in: Dorrell Wright (4.1m), 2013 Phi 2nd
Cleveland out: Daniel Gibson (4.79m)

Philadelphia in: Daniel Gibson (4.79m)
Philadelphia out: Dorrell Wright (4.1m), 2013 Phi 2nd

http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=c8yzf92

Reasons:

Cleveland: Get a 2nd. Also shave just under 700k. And Wright is performing at arguably a higher level (13.4 per versus 11.5 per). So, still would have just as strong a trade asset if looking to flip either later. So, cheaper (not the biggest concern at all but also a plus), a future asset, and not losing anything on the court or in a trade this season?

Philadelphia: Wright is falling out of the rotation (16 minutes in OT while Damien Wilkins plays 14 last night). Turner, Richardson, and Young are all capable at sf, while the bench guard rotation is Nick Young, Wilkins, and spot minutes by Ivey/Wayns. So getting a guard that could share the backcourt with Turner running the second unit would be a big improvement in fit. Giving up a 2nd and taking on the salary is the price of the fit, but with expiring contract for expiring contract, and looking in a race for the 7th(?) seed, Philly should be willing to pull the trigger.

Vote yes.

Philly needs bench scoring. Both expirings and the pick has no real value, another could be purchased if they decided they wanted second round picks for some unknown reason.

Cleveland gets a minor asset but can be used to package with other picks or do whatever. Cleveland says yes because a free asset is a free asset, no matter how small.

I don't really like getting smaller. I'd rather JRich and Young not usually slotted at SF... I really like when Turner slides over to SG and we have a big SF next to him to have a really long 1-3.

I guess the question for me is, is a 2nd rd pick worth never seeing Ivey or Waynes play again. (I don't think Gibson gets more burn then those two are getting now)... eh. Honestly, I would rather save Wright & 2nd to use with Hawes or something else to get a larger deal done.

I guess, Yes, I could see it happening, definitely not near the top of my list in desired options.
