LAL out: Pau
LAL in: Calderon Hawes Speights

Better depth, Hawes is pretty much everything Bargs is on a cheaper and shorter contract. Speights will play Hill's role.

Griz out: Gay Speights
Griz in: Turner Pau

Good replacement for Gay who can knock the 3 ball down also on a much cheaper contract. Having the Pau brothers would also be huge for basketball. Having the 3 bigs play 28-30 mpg will allow them to have fresh legs during the playoffs.

Philly out: Turner Thad Hawes
Philly in: Gay EdDavis

Gay is a big time first option type player that can lead the sixers in the 4th. They also get a young scoring PF to pair up with Bynum.

Raps out: Calderon Davis
Raps in: Thad

The Raps really only need one of either Davis or amir, they give up the former to pick up a consistent SF, a position of need.

Sixers board is fairly unanimous against taking Rudy's contract even if all it took to get him was scrubs.

It's too bad for Grizzlies.
Grizzlies need decrease the salary. Not increase the salary.

Hell no for Philly. Thad>Gay if you include contracts. Thad just had a 27 and 14 game where he lead the team with Holiday to an OT win where we were down 22 at half. This is even worse with Turner. Thad is gonna be off the block if he has one more game like this.

As much personal joy as it would bring me to see Pau coming off the bench as a backup to his little brother (and you think he's sulking now!) in any format, this trade doesn't seem to provide the immediate salary relief that Memphis is looking for in a Gay trade.
