Given that Raps are likely to move forward with Bargs to NYK, I'll offer thi idea.
To Minnesota
-Linas Kleiza
-2014 2nd round pick from Sac via Tor
To Toronto
-Luke Ridnour
Toronto has hole to fill backup PG spot and Ridnour is capable of starting should Lowry go down with injury
Wolves clear up log jam at the point and add a wing who can shoot the 3.
Lowry/Ridnour
DeRozan/Ross
Gay/Fields/Novak
Johnson/Acy
Valinciunas/Camby/Gray
Rubio/Barea
FA?/Shved/Brown
Kirlenko?/Muhammed/Kleiza
Love/Williams
Pekovic/Dieng/Stemsma
Wolves/Raptors

Kleiza shot 30% on 3 pointers last year (and only 33.5% on his career). I agree that this is his selling point, but he still isn't good at it.
Granted, he's expiring, but I think you need to include a 2nd 2nd rounder (re-route one of those NYK ones).
If Minnesota is still not interested, try and jump on the Philly has cap space?
Toronto In: Ridnour
Toronto Out: Kleiza, Sac 2nd, distant NYK 2nd
Minnesota in: TPE, (worse of hou or Brk 2014 2nd, top 55 protected?)
Minnesota out: Ridnour
Philly in: Kleiza, Sac 2nd, NYK 2nd.
Philly out: capspace, (worse of hou or Brk 2014 2nd, top 55 protected?)
I would consider that if nothing better for cap space came -- Kleiza and his 8.2 PER and 46% TS% on an expiring deal would fit Philly's plans perfectly

Minnesota to me it makes sense for a TPE.
Toronto has to up the ante, but does so cheaply.

Re: Wolves/Raptors
Sounds like MN had a number of offers for Ridnour on draft night, seems like they can do much better than an overpaid end of bench player in Kleiza and a 2nd round pick. MIL was rumored to have offered Udoh, though that may be redundant after drafting Dieng.

not saying its not Fair value just saying that raps unlikely to do it.
We are in an asset (draft pick) accumulation mode right now and unlikely to give up picks for players.
Besides its likely we amnesty klieza so just wait and pick him up

Is Toronto? Granted, the new GM hasn't been there long, but you could definitely make the argument that the Bargs deal makes them better right now, and Toronto looks like it is in the running to make the playoffs unless they make other moves.

The long term goal is rebuild through draft and trades. Its too early to say if we going to tank this year or just make a few trades to balance out the roster. But the one thing Masai has been consistent about is the desire to acquire draft picks and develop young talent.
There will be no major push just to make playoffs, so acquiring older players at the expense of picks is highly unlikely

Re: Wolves/Raptors
Hell no. Kleiza is terrible. Ridnour is a high-end backup PG, who can play the 2.

Ridnour is at least productive. Easy no.
Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and to remove all doubt
