DET - PHI (Role Player Swap)

Let's keep this simple:
Detroit Gets: Jason Richardson, 2014 2nd Rounder, $3M Cash
Philadelphia Gets: Jonas Jerebko
Why for Detroit?
Detroit needs shooters, has tons of forwards, and is weak at SG. Jason is a 37% career 3 point shooter, and a veteran to help hold down the position while KCP develops. The Pistons take on 5.1 million extra salary over the course of the deal, so Philly sweetens the pot with an early 2nd and some cash.
Why for Philly?
Jerebko is much younger than Richardson, and a hustler. He had a very good rookie year with Detroit, but after missing a year with injury, found himself in Frank's doghouse. They take a flier on the young forward.
Thoughts?

Philly has a roster full of forwards, also their 2nd will be #31, can't see them moving it in this deal.

If Detroit would take the higher of Houston and Brooklyn's 2nds next year, that would be fine (in no small part because I happen to like Jerebko's game) but we're not giving up a pick in the 31-35 range for him, as Foshan said.

I honestly could see Joe D signing Nate Robinson for the min over trading for JRich.
I like JRich too(I want him on my Grizz) but Jonas is much younger without the longterm knee problems and that weighs heavily.

Richardson just doesn't fit in Detroit. Sorry.

What would MEM give for JRich? Would they be interested in hometown boy Thad as well?

We want both really, just finding a deal that Philly likes where they take Bayless,Wroten and swap future 1sts yet don't take Prince. A third team is needed, most likely a contender.

Detroit would probably trade Jerebko for a second round pick, if Philly can absorb his deal.
Not because they dislike him, but he will be buried on the depth chart next year and Detroit could use the additional roster spot.

You want all that for nothing and a swap of future firsts with the worst team in the league?
