Irving is still very very young and has a world of upside. Has been quite a large swing in his trade value based on 1/3 of a season, I'm not sure teams would change their mind about so quickly.

I think he'll be in contention by 25 even if he doesn't get in. He is not Roy, we don't know for sure this is career killing instead of just two recoverable injuries in a row and the value of getting an MVP caliber player is so high some teams may take a chance on him. I would say Rose for Melo could be seen as fair value

Injury concerns leave me cautious of Rose and Westbrook. LMA is having a great year, but Griffin still has so much upside. Cousins is a loose cannon and you can't count on him. He has potential, but everything above his neck is suspect. I contemplated Howard, but between his mental approach to the game last year, his poor free throw shooting, and the fact that he has likely already seen his peak, I've gotta go with the guy who has been on a tear as of late, and who still has a lot of room to get better. Can you imagine him as a reliable shooter with solid defense?
