Who is the first person on the list that you'd trade for Gordon Hayward?

As a Jazz fan: Curry.

Celtics fans are forced to vote for Wallace in every value thread then. and we demand Perkins to be on the value ranking. Which player on the list is equal to a useless expiring(to tankers) to semi useful expiring (to contenders with the right fit)?

I would say that Houston would trade Ariza for Hayward. A lineup of Beverly, Harden, Hayward, Jones, and Howard is a good lineup and for years coming up.

this is to find out the players neutral trade value right?
In case whereby we have the 10 players in the list and we can offer 1 for 1 for say Hayward, which is the max we will go?

That contract limits value IMO. Ignoring hes making 15.75 and his talent would put him between Holiday and Ariza IMO

How on Earth is Ariza over Stauskas?

Foye and Mayo.....

Could someone who cast such a vote provide their reasoning?

Yeah. I need to replace stauskas with someone else. Any suggestions?

I disagree. Houston essentially traded Parsons at 3year max for Ariza at 8mill 4years.

If they turned down Parsons at 3yr max why would they offer Hayward a 4yr max? For this reason atleast as far as the Rockets are concerned, i'll say Hayward's value is below Ariza.

Does this list seem an improvement?

Curry
Aldridge
Horford
Holiday
Tyreke
Ariza
Lee
Foye
Mayo
Wallace

?

Dislike Tyreke on there for a few reasons. If you want to add between Holdiay and Ariza then how about McDermott maybe? (Vonleh is another alternative)

I would say Houston definitely would not trade Ariza for Gordon. Seeing that they refused to match a max contract for their own average player, and instead signed Ariza. I highly doubt they would trade Ariza for someone else's overpaid average player.

IMO, the Jazz made Gordon Hayward untradeable the moment they signed him to that ridiculous contract.

Well, I'm looking to avoid rookies as their value is much more speculative than veterans. Korver perhaps?

Doubt it. They matched Charlotte's offer, so there's at least one team out there that would have been interested. Even if Charlotte ruled themselves out as Hayward's only suitor since then, it was the Lance signing that did that, not the Hayward signing.

Put another way, we know there were at least two teams out there willing to pay Hayward the max. Without any real knowledge, I would still bet a lot of money that there were zero teams out there willing to pay Ariza the max. Shouldn't that count in our assessments of desirability/value?

Hayward is overpaid, no question. That limits his market a LOT, also no question. I doubt it limits it to zero; I bet there'd still be more interest in him than, say, the OJ Mayos or Randy Foyes on this list.

I know, I get a chuckle from the folks that voted Mayo. They had to look at Foye and say he was too much to give up for Hayward (laughable), but, they also weren't just trolling or they'd have gone all the way down to the bottom. They just legitimately felt that Mayo was the value stop.

I also get a chuckle from the folks just picking the last spot just to be idiots. Got one in every crowd I suppose.

^On the flip side, there are two people that picked Horford. I very much doubt that, but if one of you is Danny Ferry, please give Utah a call :D
