Derozan just seems like such an anti-Bud player. He isn't a great shooter which would limit his effectiveness.

Wow, there's a lot of work there! I can't say that I'd be happy with the moves you have for Miami - but at the same time I wouldn't be upset.

I don't think they get the best players for them in the draft: Hernangomez should be the target with the 40 if he's on the board, & if we pick Hunter with the 16 then Upshaw/Johnson is the target at 21, especially if we're looking to trade Bird in a S&T.

Also, I'd be surprised if we take on any salary for 2016 other than rookie contracts, without sending out McBob. We need to make sure we have the space to resign Whiteside & keep Wade happy - Dragic is going to command a fair chunk of that (~$20m). To me, any move that dips into that 2016 cap has to be a slam dunk - which don't think Lou is for us.

Okay for Philly we get:
Trade:
TPE for Raymond Felton, Randy Foye, J.J. Hickson and two second round draft picks;
37th and 47th Overall Draft Pick for 27th Overall Draft Pick;
35th Overall Draft Pick for Kostas Papanikalou and Nick Johnson

The first trade looks brutal. Foye should have value somewhere, but not Philly. But even if you drop him out and pass him elsewhere it becomes 9m in dead money for 2 2nds which aren't listed. Unless those are 2 very high seconds that is a definite no not at all.

37 and 47 for 27 I would do 10 times out of 10. That said, I don;t take a guy projected by dx at 50 and hitting 30% of his 3's at 27 at all. But I would feel fine if this was 35 and 47 for 27.

35 for Nick Johnson and Papanikalou I think I would pass, but its not far off.

Should be nominated for post of the week/month

You really are sportscrazy. Impressed with how plugged in you are with your Detroit analysis. It's reasonable and not bad, but I'm not a Porzingis fan.

One comment - the Pistons would look for a four that can shoot some. Davis doesn't fit the bill.

I'd be very happy if Oubre dropped to OKC at 14. But I don't want KMart back, and definitely not at that price.

Pacers would be interested in 11 for 18 & 19. Depends who's available and who we like, obviously, but historically, the team that trades down seems to do ok. The last two I remember were Minnesota trading down w/ Utah (Burke for Bazz & Dieng) and Denver trading down with Chicago (McDermott for Nurkic & Harris). In both cases, I think the team that trades down has won the deal.

So obviously it all depends on who's there, but I definitely think it's something Pacers might consider.

Wow a lot of work there, man... appreciate it.. thumbs up

I love what you do with the bulls
we can play monta in 2, butler in 3
or monta can take 1, rose more 2
especially we can offload taj, how wonderful it is.. but I'm affraid we cant afford it since we give butler a max contract, and monta is going to ask 8 figures

Why would Houston give all that for Lawson when Patrick Beverly is a better player?

interesting take, but i dont see this trade happening. Neither Frye nor Hawes are defensive specialists, but Frye is at least still shooting the 3 ball very well. Harris isnt playing PF, he is playing SF and doing it very well.

depth chart more

C: Vuc/Dedmon
PF: #5 (WCS my bet)/Frye/Gordon
SF: Harris/Gordon/Fournier
SG: Oladipo/Fournier
PG: Payton/ vet PG (Jameer/CJ Watson/Andre Miller type)
bench:Harkless, Marble, Oquinn- matched if offer not outrageous, then traded later this year (Nicholson gets traded this off season imo)
not kept - Willie Green, Ridnour, Ben Gordon

i could also see Orlando trying to trade back for Myles Turner and pick up another asset or 2

For the Nuggets, not crazy about taking on Wallace, but I can deal with it for a year. I really like the draft you've given us. Nelson would start over Prigs IMO.

i actually think there is a good chance Nelson leaves for Orlando. He wanted a chance at a ring, which he wont get in Denver. I could see him coming back to Orlando to mentor Payton.

Love it for Denver. I'd take it 10 times out of 10.

Me too, but...

I would have skipped the 18 and 19 for 11, and went for Stanley Johnson at 10:
Payne
Hezonja / Harris
Gallo / Johnson
Faried / Looney
Nurkic

Looks to me a lot more interesting than entirely missing the pg spot and having Turner as a backup pf, when I'm not sure how Turner and Nurkic play.

I'm going to keep looking at teams individually, there is so much going on here, but so far I like the stuff I see in general. Well done!

Phenomenal effort to put this together.

For the Warriors, I think you're pretty close to what will probably happen..... the only minor difference I would see is that they wouldn't bother re-signing Kuzmic, and instead would look to supplement the back-up SG position instead (similar to what they did with Barbosa this year). But that's really, really minor.

I did look at Toronto (though they're not my time), and while I think they're going to blow it up, I think they can probably do a lot better...... though I don't have specific suggestions on what that would be.

Again - this is phenomenal. Kudos.
