Here's one

Utah Receives
Jeff Teague

Atlanta Receives
Rodney Hood
Trevor Booker

Why for Utah?
They get a pretty solid PG on a very reasonable contract.

Why for Atlanta?
They get a solid young prospect on the wing, one who can pass, shoot, and defend, as well as a solid rotational big.

Is Atlanta trying to trade Teague to upgrade their team this year or to better position themselves in the future.

But the issue is that there is not too many teams that needs PG right now and if the Hawks "might" reset, then that Utah deal will be sound.

@R-DAWG - I think they are looking into the future right now, most of our team is over 30+ and Teague has not performed up to his All-Star status at all. The Hawks needs to get younger and we got a lot of cap space as well to rebuild if need.

A little bit of both is my guess. As much as Hawks fans like to say Kent Bazemore is as good as DeMarre Carroll, I'm guessing they'd like to have a bigger wing on the team with some long-term promise.

Jeff Teague, Thabo Sefolosha for Kendall Marshall, Robert Covington and 2016 Miami 1st.

Do you think that trade forces them to reset? Horford and Millsap are what makes that team click. Would playing Schroder starter's minutes really torpedo the season?

Brook Lopez and larkin or sloan for teague and splitter?

nets get their PG they need, hawks add some size and scoring at C?

There was a podcast that Mannix and Wojo was talking about it and one of the things they were saying that Hawks want to keep their core and try to beat Cavs this time around but with Korver isn't at his usual pace and Horford trying to stay soft (for contract reasons) the odds of us beating Cavs is slim to none right now, so they thinking that Hawks might reset and get younger.

That's a really bad trade for the Hawks. Utah would have to throw in their 2016 unprotected pick or a player alot better than Booker to make the trade acceptable.

Philly isn't in the position to do that trade, and definitely shouldn't. You could make an argument for finding a Schroder trade to Philly (I still wouldn't), but a Teague trade wouldn't make sense.

Why would the Jazz do it? Teague has 18 months left on his deal and could walk. He's also one of these very good but not great PGs, which makes it harder to get a huge return for him in a trade.

Teague and Hardaway for Ariza, McDaniels and Jones.

Atlanta get the immediate help for wing position, a prospect wing as an insurance if Bazemore is leaving and a young useful stretch four. Houston get their much needed good point guard. Hardaway is a filler.

I think their could be something with an Atlanta and Milwaukee trade. Milwaukee has some good assets with Monroe, Middleton, and a possible lottery pick this year. One of the three can be the principle in the trade, with also Mayo, Vasquez, and Bayless as small trade pieces to throw in.

TJ McConnell and 2016 OKC 1st for Teague

TJ as the backup to Dennis.

I believe Teague and Ish smith were college teammates at wake as well.

not sure teague's value honestly, but a late first and a new backup pg would seem fair to me. I guess you could add a player (landry, h. thompson, grant?, etc.) or a future second if you think the OKC is too late of a first... the sixers also have the miami pick but that may be a lottery pick.

I would also like to try to send Teague back to Indy, but the only trade scenario that would work would involve Myles Turner.

Teague's value is higher than the OKC pick for sure.

I think Knicks going to be all in on this..
Knicks dont have many assets to offer other than Lopez/Afflalo/Grant/Galloway/O'quinn

Is there a third team out there that would take Lopez if Atlanta didnt want him and send assets to Atlanta for the Knicks to acquire Teague

I would agree but i don't think it would be as high as the miami pick if conveyed at 12-14? i may be wrong though.
i would include a nice player like grant or holmes along with TJ and the okc pick? would you say that is closer to equal value or still not there?
