Kings Bucks Suns

Post#1 » by Beam Me Up Foxy » Sat Feb 6, 2016 3:10 am

Kings deal: Marco Belinelli and Caron Butler
Kings receive Markieff Morris

Bucks Deal Greg Monroe
Bucks receive Tyson Chandler and Marco Belinelli

Suns deal: Tyson Chandler, Markieff Morris
Suns receive: Greg Monroe and Caron Butler

Kings get a two way player at the 4
Bucks unload Monroe, improve their defense and add a shooter
Suns move Morris, they get a very good post player to help their interior offense.

How did the Bucks unload Monroe if they got higher annual salary for longer term?

If Chandler were younger, cheaper, or expiring sooner, maybe the Bucks would have interest in him. But he isn't, he isn't, and he isn't, so they don't. Certainly not at the cost of Monroe and then eating Belinelli's contract for free.

WCS is the PF for the future of this team

I'm getting frustrated that it has to be said as much

You could still have Morris off the bench, no? I mean I wouldn't want him, but considering you off-set the financial risk by unloading Belinelli its not awful.

It is however awful for the Bucks who take on a ton of bad money. And amazing for the Suns who dump two negative value players and get back the best player in the deal.
