I can't be the only one who's proposed this but this is the Blake trade that makes the most sense to me. The Clippers get an all-star PF back who is a good fit against Draymond in a series. They get to unleash the Redick+Korver combination. With Millsap very interesting spacing lineup around CP. This gives them a chance in 15-16 instead of punting away a CP year.
For the Hawks they've been in the good team without a superstar for so long that it's hard to turn down a chance at Blake Griffin. On his own team this is a possible MVP candidate. Millsap is 31 next week and if Atl plans to keep him at some point will have to give him a huge contract in his mid 30s which is scary. With Blake if they can convince Horford to resign their frontcourt is set for a while and they can use Blake to become players in FA.
