I'd say you could maybe add David Lee, Brandon Rush, Jason Terry, Chris Anderson, Greivis Vasquez, Tayshaun Prince, Kevin Martin, and Jason Thompson.

Sure some of these guys will make a roster, but I don't expect any of their services to be in demand whatsoever outside of maybe nostalgia reasons (i.e. Prince in Detroit).

I would expect to see Stat back with the Heat next year for the min.

Am I missing something with Rush? He seems well above "struggling to make a roster" level. Trevor Booker too, although I've only watched a few Jazz games.

Both should have little concern making a roster.

Bargnani and OJ Mayo should be on the list as well. I'm curious to see if it's the end of the line for Andrea. Also I think the team that picks up Greivis Vasquez at the minimum will be very happy as long as he's kept in check.

Booker, Vasquez, Martin all can actually play 20mpg and help a team. I don't think Martin just forgot how to play, but don't think he did himself any financial favors by signing with the Spurs - though he took a buyout from Minnesota to play there so I don't think it is about money for him at this point.. Could see a few teams offering him a couple million next season and hoping for a bounce back..

Vasquez and Booker stand out to me on this list though.. Booker playing on a team with Gobert/Favors and a rookie they are in love with and want to develop doesn't change his game. And Vasquez will be healthy next season, meaning he's the same good-enough player he has always been.

Stat, Lee can play their roles very well still if you don't expect more or pay them much. I'd think they get calls in FA.. Lee should get a couple MLE-esque offers imo..

Hinrich, Hansbrough, RJ, Gooden, Hickson, Thornton, Kaman, Rush will get signed pretty easily if they want to.. Locker room guys or 4th-5th big/wing off the bench..

Anthony, Blake, and a couple of the others are actually horrible and have been but seem to stick around

And then there's Josh Smith, who shouldn't fit on this list but does... Who probably should go to China..

Mayo is only 28. I'd gladly have him as a back-up in Portland if cheap.

There isn't a starter on the list. If there are even 3 that would be the first player off the bench I'd be surprised. Most of them get no interest from a top contending team and some wouldn't be of value even to a team trying to tank for the lottery. Guys like Kirk Hinrich and Jason Terry might be your 3rd point guard and incative most of the time if a team has some young players who are willing to listen and learn from a veteran.

Booker last year looked like he had developed a 3 though he took a step back this year. I like him better than Markieff Morris.

I didn't watch the Jazz much this season so I have to ask Jazz fans if his poor 3 point shooting was at least partly due to the lack of a quality PG.

I wouldn't mind GSW signing him as late bench depth in the hopes he can repair his 3 point shot next season.

LOL at Trevor Booker having trouble getting on a team. He will absolutely be signed somewhere, and possibly for more than the MLE. He is a tremendous energy player and defender, and I hope he will be on the Jazz next year (although he won't be, because he deserves minutes).

Looking at the number of teams with needs at SG, I could see Mayo getting $7-10M/yr easily.
Rush could get MLE money ($5-6M/yr). If he's really not in demand then he's an easy resign as a vet min guy for GS.
I could see GS looking at Lee or Booker as a budget Speights replacement if they can't get bigger money elsewhere. They should easily make rosters though.

Booker should have zero problems finding a home. I'm not as confident about Vasquez. Major injury, not that good to begin with, going to be 30, and plays the most stacked position in the league. I guess for him I personally was more thinking that he's a candidate to get much bigger offers overseas and only low money deals as a 3rd PG in the NBA so he may opt to go to Europe or something.

Martin will only get a deal for his name though. He was never a very good player and has gotten considerably worse. He's 33 and hasn't been a good shooter (his only skill) for years now. His 2.5 years in Minny and half year in SA, he has shot 41.8% overall and 38% from three. He shot 37% this year overall. That is horrendous for a shooter.

And as far as guys like Lee, I recall a lot of people saying that Boozer would at least get close to MLE for a year from someone as a depth guy. And yet, it never happened. There's a ton of those guys every year that you think "someone has to want him as emergency depth" and no one ends up offering them a deal.

Overall, I'm expecting teams to be looking to lock up younger guys before these types of vets and there are only so many roster spots. Vet leadership is nice and all, but I think most teams would rather gamble on a young guy developing on a super cheap 4 year deal (a Covington type deal basically) over having someone like Martin at the end of your bench for a year.

Josh Smith is still somewhat of a 'unicorn' - can shoot 3's and block shots from the PF position. He could do well in Dallas when they play Dirk at center.

Sasha Vujacic should be on here, but he shouldnt have been in the NBA to begin with season. But its the Knicks so yeah hell be back next year with good ole Kurt

He isn't really a three point threat. That year was a bit of an anomaly.

Been waiting a long time to see how much someone will pay Jason Thompson after all those years in Sacramento with people defending the salary.
