Seems like a bit of an overpay for the Knicks, but they get another big name.

That's a pretty decent haul if true. I'm a huge Robin Lopez fan though.

I've got to eat some crow on Rose. I had him as negative value and the Bulls just got a solid center, a rookie contract PG and a pick.

Wow that's a ton for Rose.

The Bulls are sending out the pick. Also taking on Calderon, but still, more value than I think anyone had Rose pegged at.

Justin Holiday is serviceable.

The Knicks liked that Rose's contract is expiring after this year, I suppose.

I never thought Chicago would trade the hometown kid, Derrick Rose. Bulls win this deal. Rose has declined considerably over the past few years.

Also, I think this was bad news for the Celtics and Wolves as I think Butler is even more off the market than ever. Because not only did they deal Rose, but they brought back some veterans in the deal. Chicago is a huge winner in this deal imo.

I find myself pretty oddly comfortable with this. Love Robin Lopez too.

Bulls probably win the trade. I value Rose with his expiring contract as neutral. But R Lopez at least can get you a 2x pick.

But Knicks always want big name, so it's reasonable for them to make this trade.

you should have given us multiple options because I voted Chicago, but should have picked the Phil option as well.

Rose actually played better in the playoffs last year than he did in his MVP season.

Robin Lopez might get traded again. I think Chicago would like to retain Noah.

i like it for the knicks. rose gets a lot of hate deservedly so, but there were glimpses of greatness last season. post asb he put up 17/3/5 on 47%/37%. why not punt while melo still has another two years of good play
