Let's say Phoenix decided too much talent and money was tied up to their point guard position and wanted to even their roster a bit with some young talent at other positions besides two young talents at point guard, what is the best package they could get for either Eric Bledsoe or Brandon Knight?

New Orleans, this deal has been discussed to death. There was a rumor our ownership shot down a trade with Moose going to NOP. Could potentially add Ennis to get a better pick back and feel their hole at PG.

Sac, I think they were looking to move Koufos previously, so they save some money by swapping Kouf for Ajinca, move McLemore who has long been in trade rumors and doesn't seem to have a spot with the drafting of Malachai and signing of Affalo and bring in MCW who I think would be a good fit and I think Joeger would love to have him, if nothing else can play that Tony Allen role with more scoring punch.

Phx, they don't really need to get rid of Chandler's salary, but they certainly save a lot of committed money in this deal to potentially make a splash in next years FA. Koufos age wise fits a lot better with their core and gives them solid production versus paying a 33 year old center who isn't going to be useful (more than likely) or even there when they are ready to actually compete. The rest comes out to be the Bucks first round pick and a couple of potential prospects in Skal, Diallo and a reclamation project in McLemore.

Mke, consolidate pieces and picks to get a good defensive PG and a mentor for their young bigs.

I was thinking that the NOP pick would probably be a second rounder, but that is where I was looking for some feedback. In order to make this work, I obviously had to pull in a number of other teams to consolidate the assets back to something that PHX might want.

What teams would be good fits for either player? Atlanta, Dallas, Orlando, Philadelphia, Sacramento, or San Antonio seem like good fits.

i wouldnt mind kicking the tires on Bledsoe in Orlando. Depends on what you are looking for in return.

I don't mind either guy but Utah is not a good fit. Burks would have to go out and then what's the point of it for either side.

Knight doesn't contribute to winning basketball

Bledsoe is a tough value fit for anyone. Good players with issues might detract from an agreement. Still I think PHX is going to try to build around him as their best talent

I don't think the Suns try and move Bledsoe. I would expect that he is someone that they want to build around with Booker.

Knight on the other hand, he isn't a great fit for many teams and hasn't shown he helps teams win. I believe he is best served on a veteran team that can mentor him.

I think quite a few teams would be interested in Knight, depending on price. He's a perfect 3rd guard or off ball player for a team with a primary ball handler at another position.

He'd be perfect on the bucks, ironically. I think Philly is a good spot for him with Simmons in town, and I think he'd be good on the Kings if they had anyone who could create for him.

Like everyone, Spurs would be a great fit for Knight.

As someone who is glad we dealt Knight and avoided paying him that extension, I have no idea where this thought that he can't help teams win is coming from. The Bucks were on a 46-win pace before the All-Star break when Knight was their leading scorer. He's just not a go-to or #1 option/franchise player that his play-style and high usage suggests. He just needs the right system and role under a coach who can reign in his shot selection.

Knight has been miscast as a starter and/or a pg. Going against benches as a combo 6th man should really help him. For the right price he'd be a solid addition to CHA's 2nd unit next to Batum, Kaminsky, and Belinelli. Spacing would be optimal with lighter play-making requirements for Knight.

Lamb and Knight wouldn't fit though. And if CHA did such a deal it would probably be next summer after addressing Zeller's RFA and whiffing on bigger targets.

I'll agree that just about everyone in the world saw the fit in PHX being terrible. And if we had signed him to a 4/48M extension, it would be interesting to see him playing next to PGiannis. But yeah, better suited as a 6th man and will need to be reigned in. Playing on Cleveland with a guy like Bron would do him wonders.

I think you can narrow this down. Regardless, the value is pretty light for PHX and possibly SAC. Bledsoe is the most valuable asset in this deal, and he's worth alot more than the next best asset in this trade. But yet, the Suns aren't really gaining anything substantial to move him. Skal and Koufus would just take away minutes from the bigs that actually matter to the Suns. McLemore is just bad, production wise and contract. The only incentive they're really getting is to dump Tyson, which isnt that much.

If you switch Bledsoe to Knight you would have something a bit closer.

Because the Kings need talent and that's a good way to get cheap talent. Especially at the guard position where the rotation looks weak.

I can't quite put my finger on the deal, but it seems there's a deal involving Charlotte, Phoenix and Oklahoma City with Brandon Knight, Tyson Chandler, P.J. Tucker and Enes Kanter involved that makes sense.

I'd love him as a sixth man. If we're doing well by midseason, I'd do Lamb + Sessions + 2017 1st for him, easily
