Nominate Pekovic
Like Bosh, Pekovic's contract comes off salary cap very soon.

If a team traded for him they would be on the hook for next year's salary. So it is a hard player to vote for since his value to Minnesota isn't that bad, but his value to another team would be worth being on the list already. I don't love the other nomination options anyways

If Pek can just avoid being voted in before 1/31, when MIN applies for the medical retirement exemption, he will avoid the shame of being on the list!
To help him, I will point out that even if he was traded, insurance likely covers 80% of his deal, so he only costs an owner $3.9 mil. I think many players are overpaid by more than $3.9 mil over the life of their contract. His cap hold expires after next year.

Pek is an unusual case because he is likely to be off the salary cap in less than a month and insurance covers a good chunk of his salary, so to the Wolves there is almost no benefit to trading him. At the same time any team that acquired him would have his salary on the cap which means they would expect something of value to take him. To me Pek seems like one of the least likely guys to get traded since it is almost impossible to come up with a scenario where a deal would make sense for both Minnesota and another team. His contract value depends on which perspective you take. One perspective is that he is dead money that has negative trade value while from the Wolves side he is close to neutral value since he will be off the books soon with little negative impact.

I got to go Crabbe here. That's just an insane amount of money for a player who has shown what exactly?

The way Orlando fans talk about Biyombo, how is he not top 3?

Matthews nominated? 2yrs/36 is that bad?
I guess people would prefer to pay less to let's say... Lance Thomas, Boban Marjanovic, Jamal Crawford...
