It is my preference and the one I would recommend. (Smitty's have more use to play with and scenario, so no slight to his hard work).

While there are still votes to be counted in Hawaii and Alaska, at this I concede the race to my opponent, and thank them for a hard fought campaign. We didn't win this year, but we changed the national dialogue and we made sure our priorities were heard. I'm proud of all my staff, and the wonderful work of all the volunteers that made the race what it was.

With jayjaysee being the overwhelming favorite for the foreseeable future I have now let most of my staff go. I'm in cost cutting, young upside and asset accumulation mode as of now.

All of my remaining picks look like big misses with how the money has dried up.

I wouldn't call this thing over..

Luckily I'm a free agent this summer and I signed with team jayjaysee for the BAE. Call me Texas Chuckcake.

Looks like I'll wind up middle of the pack :blank:

DRose preparing to agree to a 1 year min, and Nerlens seemingly missing out on the max are 2 of the biggest surprises for me. Hangover effect from last off season I suppose.

Just made an update down to one decimal with the salaries as of now on basketballinsiders. Ayatollah and SuperDario on the right side of the margin and gained a point or two.

25 points left on the board but those looks like misses for most of us. Still, the best regular season team of all time lost a 3-1 lead in the finals.

Noel turned down 70 over 4? That was right in my sweet spot :noway:

I'd have happily given you all of my points here for him to have taken that deal

Yea, sorry about that. With what people seem to think was a good draft pick and Noel on a shrinking center market, everything looked ripe for a good summer building for the future and then this. Ugh. Read that he switched up his agency to KS as well. Not good at all.

That feeling when you've just hit a 5-pointer only to glance down the sheet to realize that jayjaysee has done so as well, this guy :nonono: . It's actually gotten to the point that there's been some low key complaints from mavs fans DM'ing me wondering if jayjaysee sacrificed the Noel extension to the basketball gods just to make the rest of us look silly in this contest. Rest assured, we got our best man/woman investigating.

Alright, the final update is here and it’s time to coronate the winner of The 2017 Free Agency Prediction Contest.

Congrats to jayjaysee! A very well deserved victory!

I also want to say 'thank you for playing' to everyone participating. This was a good exercise and a tall task in a summer where the FA halfway returned to normal.

And here's the final sheet down to one decimal for the contracts displayed by basketball insiders*

*Still don't have the exact number on Mills, Mirotic & Green's contracts but it won't change more than a point to possibly decide a solo runner up.

jay is becoming a dynasty. Congrats and I just want to say it comes as no surprise that a Mavs fan is winning everything.
