Now what for the Pacers? What's the next step? The ball is in their court at this point, he put them on notice.

Personally as a Laker fan I say wait till 2018 and not make a trade for him before then. Save those assets to bring in a player that PG wants to play with.

Horrible news for Pacer fans.

The Kings got less than they could of if they had acted sooner with Cuz, but at least it wasn't at the last moment.

With PG, they are in a bad spot now with concern to leverage.

I know it sucks fellas, but when you are not close to a ring, and your franchise player situation doesn't look promising.

Sell high, before its too late.

Even if he prefers LAL, if I'm a win now team I make the move and hope all the W's are enough to keep him around. He's a in the top 10 player mix or just out of it. Worth the risk IMO, just because guys like this don't grow on trees

Now that he's informed them, they will be unable to get any real value for him since he'll be a rental. No one's taking that risk on, except contenders who might be "one or two" pieces away and willing to rent him and convince him to stay with a championship. That's a huge risk in itself. Time for Pacers to rebuild.

This is incredibly courteous of PG13. As a fan of a team that's had a star walk for nothing in FA, at least getting some assets for him will help the Pacers in the long-term.

Had a conversation yesterday with a Pacer fan and a 76er mod who when I said he openly wanted to go to the lakers that he's never said that and that it was just his agent trying to pressure the Pacers front o. Would love to see what they have to say now

Best case for return is probably Boston right?

Nope, it's LA. Maybe Randle and a pick.

LAC should do it. CP3 & PG together could be special

Boston needs to get PG13 and Jimmy Butler now.

Too much. The Lakers aren't giving the Pacers a nickel.

Pacers are totally screwed.

I still don't see LAL as a winning option, especially with they're bad contracts. Teams that should be calling:

Utah
Dallas
Boston
Miami
Minny

Enh, not really because he keeps harping on the Lakers thing which is destroying his trade value. Why would any team give up a lot knowing he's likely just a rental and gonna walk to LAl after this year? Why would the Lakers trade anything now to bring him in a year early when they can just sign him for nothing but cap-space next year? They'll be lucky to get even middling assets at this point I think. I agree it's still better than giving all appearences of staying and then up and bailing as you (and we, LMA) have suffered, but not a ton better.
